Wanted to lunch on something different after shopping groceries. We had not been back to FatBurger and so today is the day. One patron inside and no one else. We place our order at the counter with a nice young man. Mine was original hamburger combo with Fat Fries and medium drink..no cheese! The lovely missus chose the Western BBQ with skinny fries and medium drink. The cook came out of hiding as the counter person blurted out our orders. We find seats and filled up our cups. Wow, the lemonade is actually really good and I made sure I had refilled. Our order to go is ready and we decided to make sure it is all in the carrying bag. The burgers were good and I am liking the oily potato thick fries. Best of all was the lemonade drink. Now we know the grilled burgers are A-OK..as a matter of fact, I wished I had ordered the Western BBQ seeing how the missus is enjoying it. FatBurger was a good choice today.

I've been a Fat Burger fan for a long time. It had been a while since I'd been to Fat Burger and since I was bringing my mom and sister lunch I thought that's where I'd go. I've been to this location once before and while while I wasn't put off by it I wasn't impressed either.. This time as I parked in one of the few spots right in front of their door and I wondered if they were even open. There was a lock Box on one of the doors, the windows looked dirty and I didn't see anybody inside. I hopped out of my truck and tried the door, it opened so I went in . It was 12:30 PM, pretty much the middle of the lunch hour and there was no one sitting at any of the tables. There was a guy ahead of me who had already ordered. The restaurant didn't seem like anybody cared. I went up and gave my order, 2 regular Fat burgers, three chicken sandwiches, one protein style, and 4 orders of Fat fries well done. I have to note here that I was told they don't do protein style anything because they don't have leaf lettuce. They will put chicken or a hamburger Patty in a Box cover cover it with lettuce and the rest of the toppings. The cashier gave me my total and told me it will be 15 minutes. I thought 15 minutes seemed like a long time but I told myself they're making it fresh it will be worth the wait. I also noticed there were only 2 people working in the store the cashier and the cook. Several minutes into my waiting the cashier came up to me and told me they were completely out of Fat fries. I thought to myself what, It's 12:30 in the afternoon. How could this be? She asked if I wanted to substitute skinny fries, sweet potato fries or or onion rings rings. I really really wanted Fat fries, but since I was bringing lunch for my mom and sister I ordered 2 orders of sweet potato fries. After about 20 minutes my order came out, I grabbed it and took it to my sister's house. The two Fat burgers I'm told we're delicious and totally up to Fat Burger standards.. I had one of the chicken sandwiches and it was completely bland. No taste just bland. Now I know you're saying that's what you get for ordering a chicken sandwich at a Burger place, but there are plenty of Burger places that have decent chicken sandwiches. Now to the sweet potato fries. I made the mistake of assuming just because I wanted crispy Fat fries That they would ask me if I wanted the sweet potato fries the same way and if not cook them a little lighter.. Once again my mistake. They did them extra Brown and they lost a lot of the sweet potato flavor. If this Fat Burger is still open when you go there be very specific about what you want and how you want it.. Don't be surprised if they are out of something you want. You can definitely tell this is a franchise because it's not as good as one of the company's stores. Good luck to them I hope they change around they're giving Fat Burger a bad name.

Here on September 9 2021 Oofff I normally love fat burger but I don't think I'll ever go back to this location again. The cashier who took my order was very nice and friendly that's about the only pleasant thing I can say about this experience. First, I was shocked by how sticky the floors were. Did someone smear honey all over the floor? There wasn't a safe place to step. Inferred an original burger with fries and onion rings to share with my date. I went to the restroom to wash my hands, and that's where the horror is. I thought maybe I accidentally was in the men's restroom but no- it was the woman's restroom and just the step in made me instantly regret ordering food from there- I completely lost my appetite. I don't necessarily want the person who makes my food to be responsible for cleaning the restrooms but it was apparent that the only staff is the cashier and the two burger makers- I basically couldn't get over the disgust so I threw away the burger and offered my date the onion rings and he said they were not good. The fries were okay... couldn't really enjoy them I watched a lady walk into the woman's restroom and she bailed fast, slamming the door behind her as she left towards the direction of target and I don't blame her/ that's where I was mentally. Obviously the place hadn't been cleaned in awhile... I can't reason with myself to eat at this location again

Ordered 2 burgers with the works and a fries for my wife and I. I received a plain hamburger with no toppings, the most disgusting chili cheese dog I've ever seen with what looked like torn pieces of American cheese, and fries. Very disappointed that neither of us got what we actually ordered. Make sure to look before you leave because there are some incompetent people working here.

Foods super expensive, this particular store is the dirtiest Fatburger I have ever been too. The employ are always nice but eating here does not feel too sanitary. Today the inside of the restaurant smells like sewer water. It's so bad everyone is eating outside.

So funny he goes do you want a meal or no I go you know what sure. He goes wait actually you can't because we just changed the oil on our fryer which is understandable but why during lunch time it doesn't make sense, and then to offer it like okay instead maybe you should put a sign up or say hey guys unfortunately we can't do any combos or fries because of our fryer but it's okay I just won't come here.

The staff are in the back cussing and using the f word right and left. Maybe if they put as much effort into cleaning the place as they do goofing off, cussing, and talking so loud about customers, the place might be halfway acceptable. The food was just okay, however, the facility is filthy. Chairs are dirty stained foors with food all over the tables. Tables are non level and wobble. Just doesn't have a clean feeling to the whole restaurant. We've been to other Fat Burgers and they are not like this one!

Pretty nice service. Parking was not too bad. The guy that made our burger was really funny and informational. Juicy burger. The fries are passable. You can customize how the burger you wanted. My friend conquered the xxxl burger challenge. Burger can be pricey my XXL burger meal clock's in 19.19. But I have it was worth it. 2 very thick beef panties clocking it at 8 Oz each beef patte. Cheese you can choose either American or swiss.

I was on my way home from Dialysis, and was hungry, I saw the door and they were open until 9:00pm, and it was 8:30 pm. This young lady at the counter, says that its 8:30 and the dinning room is closed, but they are suppose to be open until 9:00. I live across town, and want to eat hot food, so I left. the sign say open until 9:00 you don't turn people away, especially with their are other open resentments in the same plaza. This is not the way to treat customers!

This burger joint is located on Beach Blvd in the plaza where there is a Target, Gen, and Daiskon Japan. I stumbled across this while Craving burgers and saw this place. Most of Yelp Reviews were low due to poor customer service but that is not the case: got great customer service and explain their well-known challenge: Finish the XXXL Burger in ONE sitting with unlimited time. You could do the meal of adding steak fries (skinny or fat) and drink (medium or large). It doesn't look big based on the pictures. Trust me because it's 1.5 lbs. If you have an empty stomach, you can do it. Kids can do it. Took the challenge and I did it and it's my first time here. It's similar to In N Out 4x4 but it's much bigger. During the month of June, all xxxl burger proceeds will go to the Music Appreciation Association. Instead of bragging rights, do it and support for the appreciation of music, Aside from burgers, they have wings where the Carolina Reaper is the hottest spice level. Maybe will try this on the next visit. Overall, highly recommend if you are in the Huntington Beach area.
