Great food and price. Love the fish tacos and carnitas burritos. Small seating area. Well worth visiting and trying out the food.

Everything here tastes delicious. My favorites are their Fish Tacos, Burritos, and plate. I've tried everything on their menu and I have loved and enjoyed everything their menu has to offer. This is a Must & #1 Mexican Food restaurants !!

I was looking for some Mexican food for a late breakfast and found this place. I ordered a breakfast burrito and it was delicious. It was very large and held me over until a late dinner. I saw many people order the blackened fish plate, blackened fish tacos and other tacos, it all looked great. I will definitely be back. I believe that the owner came out and made sure everyone was satisfied with their meal. Only negative would be that the parking could be tight during the lunch and dinner rush. Try it, I think you will like it.

It was Taco Tuesday!! Only $1.65 each. We all had, fish, pork and beef. They provide many varieties of salsa, extra spicy, spicy and mild. I could eat there everyday! In fact my friend who lives in the area goes there every week. The kitchen is clean, the bathroom is clean and the staff there work very hard with great humor. Will return for sure!

We have been enjoying Taco Grill, aka "Manny's (the owner), for about 7 years now. THE BEST fish tacos! NOT fried.... blackened on the grill!! Iam hesitant to do this review, because it is already busy so often! BUT, can;t keep Manny's a secret! THE BEST

Fish tacos are the best we have ever had. This will forever be out taco spot in So Cal. Visiting out of town and found this place on YELP. Great find!

Over the years we have driven by this little "hole in the wal" place and never bothered to stop in because we have our favorite Mexican food places. We did notice that the parking lot was always full and the fire trucks seem to be there a lot. Well, we decided to stop in last Monday and and we finally found out what we have been missing! We had the daily special of tacos, beans and rice for $7. It was a full plate which also included chips and was delicious. My wife and I had the blacked fish tacos as well as the carnitas. We will be back on a weekly basis I assure you. For three of us, sodas and tips included was about $27.

I'd heard about Taco Grill and meant to go months ago. Finally went today. What a great little place with really good food for a nice price! I had an a la carte cheese enchilada with a wonderful sauce. It was presented very nicely. I also had a very good chicken soft taco, loaded with meat. Everything was very fresh. The salsa bar had lots of tasty items including cucumbers and carrots (which could have been a tad spicier). But there were 3-4 different salsas to spice it up. My husband liked his crispy taco. Not sure who waited on us. He could have been the owner. He was very nice. We will definitely return. Love the little patio, but we ate inside today. Some cute wall art, too. It's just a tiny place. We enjoyed everything about it.

This is a great "hole-in-the-wall" Mexican food joint. Everything I've had is good and the owners are very nice. It has a nice patio just to kick it and there prices are very fair (especially Taco Tuesday). I go here regularly and I really enjoy the breakfast burritos. I highly recommend, especially if you are local.

I've been driving by this out of the way little neighborhood joint for years and never stopped in until today. It is east of Beach Blvd. on Heil and Newland, just past Westmont school in a residential neighborhood. This is the REAL DEAL Mexican food. My chicken enchilada was packed with shredded chicken breast meat and the sauce was actually tasty and spicy (unlike a lot of other "Mexican" cafes where it has no taste at all). I had a crispy taco too and it was perfect -- and also loaded with meat. My plate came with a scoop of perfect guacamole and sour creme. The combo dinners I saw looked wonderful .They serve full Grilled Chicken, Carne Asada. Carnitas and Pastor dinners too. Saturdays and Sundays they have Menudo and the two men at the next table were wiping their brows as they ate it. They have a salsa bar. I sampled two of them and they were both wonderful. The owner genuinely seemed concerned whether I liked the food. I used to favor George's in Huntington Beach a mile away for a stop between my weekend chores. But Taco Grill has them beat.

This place is on a non assuming corner and doesn't look like much from the outside or the inside, but what is lacks in appearance it makes up for in taste. The prices are reasonable like taco Tuesdays ( $1.25) for soft shell tacos. This place gets packed so they also offer take out and cafe style dining outside.
