I’ve been to GEN a couple times with my family and both experiences were a bit lacking.Service could be better, we had asked our waiter for a bigger portion of the Korean potato salad since it’s a huge fav for my sister and I, yet the waiter kept bringing one or two sides at a time despite us requesting more. If they have a limit to how many sides you can get I wish he would have just said so instead of nodding his head like he understood but still bringing the same amount each time.We also weren’t huge fans of their beef bulgogi. It came as a big slab of meat that doesn’t taste like it has much of the marinade. Honestly I recommend going to Red Castle instead, they know how to do Korean BBQ much better. I can’t think of any other food that really stood out. Corn cheese and their rice cakes weren’t bad but nothing really spectacular either. Same with the deep fried Mondu.Two stars because I thought their little alcohol drink pouches were cute and the vibe inside the restaurant is nice. But service and food could use some help!

Good place to go for KBBQ. They have two menus with a basic and premium menu for $20 more a person. The basic has the majority of the stuff, just wish they had tongue as part of it. The best dishes are probably the brisket, kalbi and spicy pork bulgogi.On a sad note..there is no longer a yelp waitlist nor do they serve sole diners.Vegetarian options: Limited
We've been coming to this Gen Location for many years, but Wednesday's April 3rd 2024 experience was horrendous. The first food order was quick, thereafter everything just fell apart, requested order multiple times and never received. Server hardly ever check on us if we needed more or when food came out it was too late, when we been waiting for 30mins our appetite was ruined. We just wanted out so we ask for the check and quickly paid to exit, we will never return to this Gen Location again or ever return to a Gen. Hate to say, I think if it keeps going like this, major severe business loss will be in the future for this chain...

I'm not sure she was the manager but if she was, it seems like she hates dealing with the public. Our waiter probably caught some of her vibe. The food was good, it came fast, and they cleaned up our table quickly but did not offer us any water when we were empty.

great place with great food and service. not too busy.everybody there is attentive and polite. the food is great and there are so many options. service is quick and grill changes are frequent.our server ethan was great. friendly, fast service and just made the experience more pleasant.not too pricey, good vibes, just fun. would recommend

First time for me.I was unimpressed as it seemed everything I wanted to order they were out of .It was very busy so I will try it on more time .But for a 45 minute wait and some items not available a no no for me. But the one light for the evening was the server who took care of us he was a pure delight . So! Alex I thank you! So much! You were on top of your game. And again Thank You.
1st time here, and I loved it. Michelle, our server was very attentive, making sure we had meat coming to our table and not had to wait. Peter was another person who helped us out, we asked him for extra tofu, and he brought it to us right away. The other employees always made sure our grill was replaced with a new one when we got new meat coming to our table .Overall very delicious food, very good service, very good people working there . Will come back soon .

Giving one star for the service, it's gone downhill in the last two times I've been here so it's a pattern now. They're quite busy so I don't know if it's a staffing issue or the servers they hire. Had repeated issues with them getting orders incorrect, forgetting to bring items and having to ask multiple times, which is made more difficult by the servers not coming by frequently enough to ask multiple times. Just a very disorganized operation they are running now. They are always busy so it's possible they just don't have an incentive to care if the service is bad. I will say, the guys who change out the grills are on top of it though, no complaints there.

It was the first time I been to a Gen Korean BBQ or similar restaurant like them but todays occasion was for our friend birthday in which they’re regulars here, to begin with this place has great service very clean super friendly staff we were asked what type of meats we wanted and we hardly waited 3mins to get each meat non stop the grill surface was replace constantly super fast,overall great experience again specially to be first time for me in which also I’m not a huge red meat fan but this place didn’t disappoint I highly recommend it next time I’ll get marinated chicken and spicy shrimp since is more the meat I eat tho great place for birthday’s or dates or hang out with friends
