Came in to kill sometime waiting for a friend, grabbed a snack and hot coffee. Even though I waited around for an hour or so they were very kind checking in on me but never bugging. Sat at the counter so I could see the food, everything looked fresh and hot. Place wasn't busy but a steady flow of people who knew better than most. Clean and tightly even for an older established. Pies and deserts looked yum, they even have a claw machine with holiday stuffed animals. I'll be sure to stop here for breakfast when in the area, thanks to Alex is kind female waitress making me welcome.

I've been coming here a couple years now. Over that time, the food quality has gone down, and the prices gone up. I just dropped $42 (including tip) on a bacon cheeseburger, fries, 3 piece chicken fingers, and cinnamon roll. This will be my final visit here.

We've been going here for a monthly 1960 Woodrow Wilson graduation class get together for many years. The waitress is super friendly, our 20 person's food comes out hot, there's a hideaway room for us, it's a plentiful menu that will satisfy any taste. Best of all - it's conveniently located.

Honestly, if he ever quits, I’ll hire him myself! And let’s not forget, the food is awesome too — props to the kitchen for always keeping it delicious!

I tried to like it . 3 meals in 10 days 4 bites left it behind $20+ , lunch BLT bacon burnt 1/2 left it behind fries are dreadful. Tomatoe was not red but pink and a 1/4 thin c slice an a tiny scrap of lettuce. Hamburger worst ever. The meat looked old and dry and not flavor. Onion rings cooked twice no flavor Someone’s in the kitchen pretending to cook. Maybe $75 down the drain they need to change the tv from COPs to something else not all the sickness in our sad country.

I have been coming to this diner for years now and the food has always been outstanding and the service the same I believe this is the next step to heaven cause that is the way this place is from head to toe and all the people that run the place are all in since with each other and I and my friend Miss Jenifer just love the place I have been to a lot of different places to eat this place by far is the best place I have ever been I recommend this place to anyone that loves food and people .they should change the name to golden best because it is.and another thing all the people that run the place are very angelic.so anyways don't take my word for it.if you want to experience goodness I recommend golden West diner.

I order to go food. Each time I order a baked potato, I get a day-old potato. The rice pudding contains hard rice in it. Last week, I ordered to go food and they left out the dressing for the salad. I ask that they provide fresh food and be more attentive when filling the order. I did not want to write a bad review, but each time I ask to speak with the manager or owner, they are not available.
