First time at this Asian-oriented grocery store. Employees are helpful, but I was looking for a small ham, not deli ham for sandwiches, and they do not carry ham!!! (sliced deli ham, yes) They have pork in many varieties, so why they wouldn't sell hams is beyond me. I was also looking for extra large or jumbo frozen shrimp, and could not find any. I didn't want a large box. Only looking for a pound or 2, but finally settled for a pound of frozen, cooked, cleaned, medium size shrimp. It's a very large store with a good fresh produce section, and I was able to find everything else I needed.
Large food hall and so many options. They also have Tous Le Jour bakery and the food at the food hall was so good
Very clean and neat korean market, I contains 10 or more different eatery places which is awesome! Many friends says H Mart is a bit pricier then any other korean markets. I agree. But, I don't paying a bit more extra for the market it gets cleaner atmosphere and well, it's very organized also variety foods-eatery!
When it first opened, the vegetables and fruits were very fresh. Now they aren't fresh. The first thing that greets me when I walk in is the smell of bad or stale fish, and I don't like that smell.
This HMart branch delivers, from grocery to food court. Clean, organized & wonderful staff, from stockers to cashiers.
Do not support this place. The live crab show is animal abuse at its finest. Crabs are sentiment beings that feel pain and do not deserve to be treated like they are cramped in live tanks. It’s 2025 stop shopping at this store.
Fresh produce and lots of selection for home cooking.
This was my first visit to this location. As soon as we walked in, the music was extremely loud—so loud that we had to raise our voices just to communicate. After a few minutes, I started getting a headache, so my partner went to the front desk to politely ask if the volume could be lowered.
Unfortunately, the older Korean female staff member who responded was very rude and dismissive. She said it wasn’t her job and told him he would need to contact the vice president regarding the music. That response felt unnecessary and unprofessional—having to contact a VP over music volume seems excessive and unrealistic.
Shortly afterward, another customer service representative (non-Korean) stepped in and showed more understanding and courtesy. By that point, however, the interaction had already left us frustrated, largely due to how the Korean female staff member spoke to my partner.
I hope management reminds all staff that customer service should be respectful and inclusive. Discrimination to non Asian or dismissive behavior toward customers is unacceptable, and if someone is unwilling to listen or help, they should reconsider working in a non customer-facing role.
Good options for Asian
I’ve been waiting for this Hmart to open for forever and it does not disappoint. I think this is my 6-7th time here and every time, I always find something new. It feels almost like a treasure hunt. Giant store with plenty of friendly staff, parking, and great food options at the food court! This place makes me happy and is my go-to for groceries.
There’s also a Target, Daiso, Gen Bbq, and an amazing sushi restaurant nearby too! Highly recommend ~

The customer service at the cashier was disappointing, especially from the cashier named Elizabeth. Even though there were no customers waiting behind us, she seemed rushed and didn’t allow me to scan my membership. We had three separate transactions totaling almost $450, yet when I asked her to wait while I looked up my membership, she said it was too late. I’ve never experienced such poor customer service at HMart before.
My daughter's swim meet and practice schedule prevented us from doing traditional Thanksgiving meal at home. All she wanted to do was watch a movie at Bella Terra. Since her favorite restaurant was closed we decided to go to HMART as I figured it would be open. In short, best Holiday meal we've had in the US. #1 is still Peking Duck at Shangrila HK. She ordered the Beef Soft Tofu Ramen and I had the Beef Vegetable Hot Plate.
Nice and clean . Bunch of good things everywhere!!!!
Vast selection but very busy ,variety of foods in food court
Live in Long Beach and just discovered this h-mart! Incredible grocery store! Such a huge selection of prepared foods, kimchi, meats, seafood - a grocery shopper’s dream! This is a new store (pristine), opened in August 2025, so for anyone giving this a negative review from the opening weeks, give the place some credit, since there are always growing pains to work through at the beginning!
We’ll be back weekly! Happy to have this nearby!
