First time at this Asian-oriented grocery store. Employees are helpful, but I was looking for a small ham, not deli ham for sandwiches, and they do not carry ham!!! (sliced deli ham, yes) They have pork in many varieties, so why they wouldn't sell hams is beyond me. I was also looking for extra large or jumbo frozen shrimp, and could not find any. I didn't want a large box. Only looking for a pound or 2, but finally settled for a pound of frozen, cooked, cleaned, medium...
Very clean and neat korean market, I contains 10 or more different eatery places which is awesome! Many friends says H Mart is a bit pricier then any other korean markets. I agree. But, I don't paying a bit more extra for the market it gets cleaner atmosphere and well, it's very organized also variety foods-eatery!
When it first opened, the vegetables and fruits were very fresh. Now they aren't fresh. The first thing that greets me when I walk in is the smell of bad or stale fish, and I don't like that smell.
