Definitely overhyped overrated. The color of their roasted duck definitely more beautiful than Lien Hoa BBQ. But for the quality of meat and taste, Lien Hoa BBQ is supreme. I do notice more older people come to Hao vi than Lien Hoa. I think that's because the location is convenient for the older folks.

One of the best roast duck bbq spot. It very flavorful and roast pork you have options to choose from lean meat or fatty meat. Either one it tender and seasoned well.
When you buy roasted meat, especially roasted duck, you MUST keep the receipt so you have something to eat so that the roasted duck stinks and you have to return it for a refund. My wife bought a roast duck on Sunday afternoon, 11/24/24. That night I ate a few pieces of meat. I find it a bit flimsy. broken. black, and smelly like the duck had been left out too long before it was roasted. The next day, 11/25/24, I brought that tray of ducks to meet Ms. Nga and the butcher to show them how to improve their business. Instead, they admit their mistake and apologize, I will let it go. At first I didn't intend to get my money back. But, they did not admit that they were wrong, deliberately tried to defend themselves and asked if I had a receipt. So I decided to go ahead and ask for my money back. After talking back and forth for nearly 15 or 20 minutes, they gave me back nearly $35. It made me so obsessed that I didn't dare to eat roasted duck again. I learned the lesson that when buying goods in Vietnamese areas, always keep the receipt. I hope this store sincerely changes to bring high quality to my countrymen.

This is 2nd time we brought roast pig at Hao Vi , The smell of meat is terrible I don’t know why owners don’t smell it is very bad , I hope they check a pig before they roasted.
