In a nice strip mall, easy parking, no wait, immediately seated. They have a large menu of Vietnamese noodle and rice dishes. I ordered pho xao thap cam, soft fried rice noodles with meats and seafood. Partner ordered a sea food noodle soup. Both are fresh, tasty, my fried noodle portion is almost twice as big as the same dish at Trieu Chau.Prices are comparable to other shops but portion are huge and food tasty, more authentic Vietnamese compared to Chinese or Cambodian housesI split a quarter of my plate to partner but struggled to finish the plate. Was so stuffed I wanted fall asleepYoung waiter speaks English, was very polite and helpful .This shop is now my favorite noodle shop in all OC and LA, highly recommended.

Worse service ever. Sat there for 15 minutes, and no one would take my order. There was a table that came after us, and they got order. I was fine at the moment, no big deal. We Sat for another 10 mins and still nothing. 2 ladies walked in after, and 3 mins later, someone came and took their order. I'm like....are u serious? I felt like they just ignored me. I come here and eat all the time. I don't care how good their foods are, but if that's the way they services then I will never come back. We just stood up and left.

Food was decent. They charged us $0.50 for the tap water. That was NOT cool! The chair was very sticky, my shirt would get stuck on the chair every time I rested my back.

I went for roast pork and thin egg noodel soup. Good, and very similar to other places I order this dish. Extensive menu of other Vietnamese comfort food dishes.

The house special noodles, dry, are my favorite. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the area. The duck noodles are great too!

We have been regular visitors of Hung My Vi, and our most recent visit has left us with a positive impression. My favorite go-to dish is the special dry noodle and wonton, while my husband loves the braised duck noodle. The special dry noodle and wonton comes with an abundance of green onions, chives, meat, organ meats, seafood, and a savory sauce, all served alongside a side of soup. The braised duck noodle, on the other hand, showcases a tender duck leg and dry shitake mushroom, immersed in a rich and flavorful broth, accompanied by pickled vegetables. However, one minor inconsistency we've noticed is that the portion of noodles tends to vary.Sometimes we receive a more generous serving, while other times it is slightly less, despite ordering the same small size bowl.During our most recent visit, we encountered newly hired servers who exuded energy and displayed a keen attention to detail. Their service was prompt and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. Moreover, we find that the dishes at Hung My Vi are reasonably priced, offering good value for the quality and taste.

Good food, fast service, and clean. This soup with dried duck is not the first time I tried, so based on my previous, I think the soup needs to have a bit more of the traditional medicine

tl,dr: hidden gem.Very good experience. Went with wife for dinner kinda late but they are super friendly (we visited one hour before they close). I ordered Roast Duck with Wonton noodles and wife ordered a House Special Wonton noodles. overall taste is good, well seasoned. portion is big for the price. We also ordered special mung bean drink which to be honest is perfect in my opinion. The floor is a little sticky but overall the place is free of trash and tables and chairs are clean. They also took $100 bill which is surprising to me since these type of restaurants usually doesn't accept bill bigger than $20. definitely a hidden gem. 5/5

No. No no and no! It's unacceptable to pay almost &15 dollars for a small bowl of noodles and a cup of water . I will never come back! My white shirt was stuck with something sticky from the back oh the chairs when I leaned forward.

Great wonton noodle soup, soup or dry style! Very authentic! Not the cleanest place but the food is good and they are nice.
