My favorite hot dog place in Orange County! The quality of their meat and texture of their fries sets them apart from any other place. It is nice knowing you are supporting a small business while crunching on delicious fries.

Its a hot dog kiosk. Wieners are of excellent quality and the food is always on point. I always stop here after a beer run at Total Wine.

Came here for dinner tonight. I got the chili cheese dog, the boyfriend got The Mayor’s Sampler. Loved it all! The buns, dogs & chili were delicious! The really shining star for me was the French fries, they literally use fresh potatoes and cut them in front of you. What a delight. For both our meals as combos, we spent around $31.

Great Veina beef hotdogs. Italian beef is good too, a little spicey. It's a walk up & drive thru place with only 3 outside tables. Good for Chicago style dogs and beef.

Awesome lil Hot Dog Shack in Midway City with IMO, best Chicago Dogs in the OC and Chili Dogs as well. It’s a drive up/walkup outdoors spot so atmosphere is a parking lot lol but don’t let it scare ya.

Hot dogs are hardly a gourmet food, so I never go to new place with high expectations. Happily this place turned out to be a real delight.

It’s a tiny little mom and pop that’s much better than a major chain like Wienerschnitzel. The couple running it are from Chicago and patterned it after traditional stands there. That devotion to authenticity really shows. I got the Mayor’s Sampler, where you get half a chili dog, half a Chicago dog, and half an Italian beef sandwich. The chili dog and Italian beef were very good, but the Chicago dog was truly excellent. The ingredients for all three items were very fresh and well prepared.

The french fries are also ell made and nicely seasoned. I think that they cut them fresh on the spot, as they didn’t have the boring texture and flavor of frozen fries.

It’s hard to elevate simple fast food to an A+ experience, but they pulled it off. I’ll definitely be back.

So if you’re ever in a hot dog mood and down in this area, I highly suggest coming here.

It's a little hit in a parking lot. Maybe originally a film place. But, what a wonder. Like a mini Portillos. Legit Chicago dog. Balboa bars! Yum. Chili cheese dog was solid. I love this place. Try the Italian beef sandwich.

First time here. I’ve been on the hunt for a good Chicago dog in LA forever and finally found it! The nice lady threw in a few of their fresh hand-cut fries for me to taste. So yummy. I’ll be back to try more things!
