It's a bakery shop but actually serves the best Chinese breakfast items. Such as all noodles and porridge. My favorite chao huyet, mi phuoc Kien, chao long, too many to list. One of the best breakfast spot opens at 8 am.

Pricing practice is bait and switch style. Quote one price. Charge a different price. Then when customer inquired about the price difference, the deceiving mumbo jumbo began. No, no matter how good the food is, we cannot tolerate a deceiving business practice. There are many other food choices!

customers need to be careful with the deceiving pricing practice. Customer needs to check the bill before paying. Otherwise you will be told one price, in our case $2.50 a bun and then the bill came out at a different price $3 a bun. Unfortunately for us, we found out we overpaid after we were home, so we called back, then we got the run around on pricing. First was told $2.50, then when we mentioned we were charged $3, the deceiving run around began. The difference in our case is only $6, it is not life and death, but... All in all, no matter how good the food is, we won't be back to support such a deceiving business practice. There is a lot other food choices!

This place is horrid. Roaches lined the food storage area in the kitchen as I went to the restroom. Urine all over the seat and as I was leaving the kitchen, I caughtthe cook picking his nose. Stay far away from place Never have I ever been so disgusted with an eatery.

Food: My mom and I used to go here frequently and we love it! However, things seem to have changed recently. We ordered chao, hu tieu, and com tom. The best thing here was probably com tom, although the sauce was still watery. It was average. The hu tieu came with the blandest soup and meat. It basically tasted like the most basic pho! The chao was also very plain and came out lukewarm! Service: As for the service, the staff was very rude! The staff belittled my non vietnamese boyfriend, persisting him to use the fork, when he knows how to use chopsticks! They were rude when we asked basic questions like, "can we warm up the chao more?" He replied with, "so you want it hot now?" As if the common standard is cold chao!? Now, this last part TAKES THE CAKE. We had a mix up of leaving a tip because originally we wanted to pay in credit, but since this is a cash only place, we had to pull together cash from everyone eating at the table. As you can imagine, it got a little hectic as everyone was coming up to the pay register to offer what they had. However, this made us forget to account for tip. I will acknowledge this is our fault. I've worked food service industry before, being a waitress for 3 years, so I always tip, even if I don't like the establishment! It was not our intention to not tip. While we were walking out, the lady came running and yelled out "HEY NO TIP!?!" with the sourest face ever! I understand feeling frustrated with no tip, cause I've been there too! But to chase customers down and to demand a tip is CRAZY. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I would recommend this place if the food is good but service bad, because it'd be worth it. However NEITHER is good! There are many better places around bolsa PS: Tan hoang huong sells AMAZING chao, if you wanted to check that place out

This place is not good as it use to be. I use to enjoy coming here especially on cold day for their rice porridge and chinese donut. Their porridge is bland and their portion is small now. I understand the price increase but don’t cut back on the food. I order chicken porridge got mostly porridge. There is a short lady maybe in her middle 50. She has the worst attitude when taking our order. I show her the picture of what I wanted from my phone and she does not know what it is and this picture is from her restaurant too. She just seem clueless about taking our order but it’s just her unfriendly attitude that got to me.

Beside their porridge, we loved their wonton noodle soup. Parking is not an issue in the morning as we usually visit during breakfast time.

Good and service were good. However I'm not sure if it's because I went with my Vietnamese friend. They sell authentic Vietnamese food

First thing first. The foods here are one among the best. However, anytime they got these 2 person doing the table services are among the worst of the worst!!! Their name are : manh & ly !!!! These two always had such an ugly, stuck up, arrogant careless and shitty attitude toward the loyalty customer every single time. They expected huge big tip with their stupid - dont give a s*** , ignorant way of services. They even chipped of some food from us. We bought a : chinese donut ( dau chao quay ) to eat with our noodle. They cutted it up and came out only half of it!!!!!!! Listen, if you are hungry , i will buy all the freaking chinese donut for you to eat. Dont you ever chipped off and ribbed off customer of the food they paid for. These 2 are barely here from vnam probably for a few years . So their stupid, arrogant head and mind are still the communist ways. They are always too busy nosily talking to their friend . I knew the owner and their family for a long, long times. They are the greatest people and i highly respected the whole entire family. Too bad whenever they are not here at the restaurant and with these 2 running the table. Oh that is one sadddddddd thing !!!!! Certain people are born deceiving and these 2 are surely proved their ugly characters !!!!!

I am Cantonese and a new resident of Westminster. I've been on the search for HK egg tarts (or something close) and this was one of the few that had any. Lemme tell you, this ain't it. The puff pastry dough was so thick, not flakey and disappointing. The bbq pork bao- it was so sad. It was 70% bread. The wrapped sticky rice - I don't remember; probably wasn't bad but wasn't memorable.

Highly recommend this restaurant for their noodle soup dishes and their bakery goods. My parents have been buying food from here for over 20 years. It's nothing fancy but the food is amazing.
