Amazing vegan food! I'm also gluten-free and it can be hard to find both, but Kensho has never disappointed. I've been coming here for two years! I discovered while in the process of moving from the San Fernando Valley to HB in October 2022. Here I am two years later looking to come in and celebrate my birthday this week with some delicious vegan sushi! My daughter also LOVES it here and now even my non vegan friends are true fans lol. Definitely a must visit!

This spot is a hidden gem. Don't be fooled by the location, which is lackluster but comfortable - They make very tasty and creative high end vegan sushi, among an array of other tasty bites like squash blossoms, soups, and bento boxes. The service is very friendly and accommodating, and we would definitely come back.
The only roll we were all really disappointed with was the "I lava you" roll, which had a very pungent flavor and was loaded in a creamy sauce. It didn't come out as we expected based on the picture and we barely ate it, but still were billed the $17. I get it though, you win some you lose some. Everything else was a big win, so now we know!

Amazing food and fastest service I would say. I was around LA for a vacation and found this beautiful spot. The food was the best and I have never had a vegan sushi like this one anywhere. Definitely recommend this place for a mouth watering treat.

Amazing vegan sushi. Best sushi I've ever had, including back before I went vegan. You can't tell that everything is vegan. If I lived in California, I'd come here all the time since we did not get to try everything we wanted. We tried at least 5 different rolls, one bento box, the fries, and two different sashimi. 10/10 for everything. We would have taken more photos but we started eating as soon as it got to the table.

So yummy! We got the Don (cream cheese is SO GOOD), jalapeno popper roll, and seared salmon! It seriously tastes like fish, crazy good. The waiter was so very nice and accomodating. Nice atmosphere, good prices too! A must visit for vegans, in my opinion

The server was awesome. The bento box was very filling. The chicken katsu is very good and crunchy. The I lava you is to die for. Overall amazing place. I feel like it's very underrated. Make sure you come in with an empty stomach because the portions are good and the food is very filling.
