I LOVE coming to this location! I live in LA and every time I’m in the area, my best friend and I get lunch here. The food ALWAYS tastes delicious and the staff is attentive and so kind. And I also have to mention that they have THE best millennial bops playlist bumping. I rarely write reviews, but I just had to for this place because it’s honestly one of my favorite places to eat!

I love The Kickin' Crab , this is a small restaurant chain that offers an extensive menu of spicy Cajun seafood made to order and combo meals.
Food: We ordered Clams with garlic butter $17.50 , it’s was fresh and delicious . My favorite is the clams because the sauce makes them so much better, and their clams are very clean. I’ve been to many different restaurants, and there’s always some kind of sand in the clams.
3 lbs LIVE Crawfish with
Cajun MILD sauce the toppings is sausage and potatoes, corn $67.85 . It’s was very tasty . I like the sauce very much. The restaurant will put all the seafoods you ordered in a plastic bag with chilly sauce of your choice. Then you eat it by hands and it does require some finger works.
Clam Chowder $9.10 just okay for my taste. I don’t see much clams .
Gumbo w/ Rice : $8:80 this is not my taste, I didn’t like much
Cajun Fries : $6:40 was okay. Nothing special
Kickin Wings (w/Cajun) $12.80 , it’s was crunchy and delicious .
Pricing: Price was fair for seafood .
Atmosphere : Great vibes , music not too loud and friendly service.
Parking: limited , the parking is kind of annoying because it's located at the corner and there's only a couple of designated spots.
DISAPPOINTED. Called in and ask if they had fresh crawfish which the employee said yes . Went in and ordered Togo for a party . Crawfish was FROZEN and not live .
Criminal to lie and then serve frozen crawfish .
Cajun fries here are good tho .

My favorite location! The food is consistently delicious, and the staff is quick, efficient, and pretty attentive for such a busy restaurant. They're always well staffed so you don't feel overlooked.
The only downside is the waiting area—everyone ends up crammed into a small space while waiting for a table. I wish they would implement a check-in kiosk or text system to notify you when your table is ready. There's not really a way where you can comfortably wait in your car.
Other than that, everything else is excellent!

Although it wasn’t full we had order before other people had came in to the restaurant. We were party of three and it shouldn’t take more that’s 2 plus hour to make our food and serve. We asked the waiter about it and she just walked a way and ignore us. And we have been going there for 2 years. And there has been no problems until now. On Sunday 15, 2025 at 5:40 and left at 7:15 and yet nothing. Have employees that will have maturely and proper manners. Bad service.
The food wasnt the worst but the service was. Our server was horrible and incredibly rude. If you want okayish overpriced seafood boil with horrible service come here!

I've been really disappointed with my recent experiences. I've placed multiple orders and always made a point to call ahead to confirm that live crawfish were available. Each time, I was assured they had them, so I went ahead and ordered min 6-8 lbs along with other items.
Unfortunately, when I got home and started eating, only a few crawfish seemed fresh. The rest were dark, mushy, and clearly not live — a big difference in quality that's hard to ignore. It honestly felt like there was an assumption customers wouldn’t notice the switch from fresh to previously frozen crawfish.
I've been a loyal customer for a long time, but this has left a really bad impression. Had I known they didn’t actually have fresh crawfish, I would’ve waited or called again later. I’m extremely disappointed in the quality, and it feels like I paid for something I didn’t receive. It’s frustrating and, frankly, unethical.

Very Disappointed – Poor Quality and Dishonest Practices
We placed an order with Kickin Crab on Sunday for 8 pounds of live crayfish, paying nearly $200. What we received was far from fresh — many of the crayfish were black, small, and visibly shrunken. These were clearly not live, and definitely not worth the price.
When we called to express our concerns, we were told they only have live crayfish in stock, not frozen. So, we decided to give them another shot and ordered 6 more pounds today (May 6). Again, the crayfish were dark, small, and definitely not fresh.
Fresh crayfish are priced at $19 per pound, while frozen are only $15 per pound. It’s clear that they’re mixing in frozen with the live ones, but charging us for fresh. This feels like a scam. At this price point, it’s completely unacceptable and dishonest. I’d advise others to be very cautious when ordering from them.
