BANH TET REVIEW--wow, their banh tet ($36) is nothing like I've ever seen before. It's packed with meat, both lean and fatty. The sweet rice is soft with just the perfect amount of green bean. Unlike other places that are packed with green bean and just 1 strip of meat with hard rice. Bought 1 yesterday and already almost finished it all by myself! Also tried their Cha Chien (fried pork loaf $9) and Dua mon (dried radish pickles). It was the perfect pairing since it gives the dish a crunchy texture. Will definitely be coming back to get more

Stopped by for the first time this past weekend and loved the food and service! Most food items are displayed on the counter with price stickers on them, so it is not intimidating to order for those unfamiliar with all the foods. Banh mi and banh cuon were both delicious. Will return in the future for more goodies!

i was super swamped with work this past weekend & missed placing in catering orders ahead of time. i decided to search on yelp, found 'Kim Huong' as the first choice, winged it and called in to place a last minute order. The gal assisting me on the phone was very informative, patient & understanding. I was limited on party tray choices, my mistake for calling in late; albeit the shop was very accommodating upon my request in providing me two beautiful trays of combination fried rice & chicken sticks/wings. to further top off that stressful task; my fiancé went to the wrong location during the allotted pick-up time. Kim Huong reached out to me, stayed behind to ensure we got our order safely, they even kept the trays warm while waiting for us. I couldn't thank this kitchen enough, for showing caring gestures and kindness from A to Z. needless to say, the food was devoured so quickly at our attended party that night. our guest couldn't stop raving about the flavors of the simple, yet delightful dishes. I was planning my baby shower and stopped by here to try a few things. Loved their fried rice, bánh cam, and pate chaud! Kim Huong's fried rice has an extra umph to it that makes it really good! It's a perfect balance of buttery richness and umami/savory flavor. I loved that the rice has a bite/crunch to it, similar to how my mom makes it! Also good ratio of protein to rice, which I really do appreciate it. Katie was so sweet and went through the details of the catering trays with me. I end up ordering a large tray (feeds 30-40) and some banh cam and it was all gone! My friends were raving about it! Will definitely come back for future parties!

Tried calling to place an order and the automated system states they aren't taking orders at this time and to go visit the store for already prepared take away trays. When I got there, Katie was taking orders over the phone.. lol yea.. Nothing was really prepared or ready to grab and go upon arrival. I saw the workers bring out trays in various sizes here and there. Line moves slow.. and the cashier didn't speak English. I was able to secure a tray of banh cuon (which my family didn't really enjoy how it was packaged or how it tasted). Banh beo which looked okay and ended up tasting okay. Banh nam which no one enjoyed at all. I guess if you're a regular you def get special treatment. There's def other and better food to go places in the area.

Don't let the hole-in-the-wall ambience deter you. This place makes really delicious food! They consistently make high quality, delicious food, that are freshly made and never spoiled. It is evident that the chef/owners take great pride in their work and care about their customers. (They even tweaked their fish sauce due to my previous yelp post, and now it is perfect! Thank you!) Katie is always there, with a bright, cheerful, friendly smile, and she speaks fluent English and Vietnamese. Customer service is superb! Prices are clearly labeled, and they accept credit cards. You can pick up small items (unfortunately, availability varies) or call ahead to order party trays. On weekends, this place is often bustling with people coming in to pick up multiple party trays. We have really enjoyed their Banh Uot Thit Nuong, Banh Gio, Banh Nam, Banh It, Banh Beo, Banh Bao, and Nem Nuong spring rolls. Their desserts are yummy too, including Banh Gai, Banh Da Lon, Mung bean mochi, Casava pie, and Pandan honeycomb cake. They also have various Che desserts, Xoi, Banh Mi sandwiches, fried rice, noodles, etc that we have yet to try. This is now our go-to place!

Got a plate of nem neuong, bahn uot, pate, ice coffee, varieties of cha luau and nem chua! Everything was delish!! My little one especially loved the nem neuong, as do I! Came here to pick up some banh bot loc, and banh bot chien to go. I also placed a large party tray of fried rice and nem nuong cuon for a party. The lady that took my order was friendly and very efficient, despite the large amount of takeout orders they already had. Nem nuong was $2 each and fried rice pricing depends on the size of the tray. Nem nuong was yummy and the sauce was okay. Fried rice was mediocre in my opinion. It could've used a little more seasoning and flavor. Overall, I'd get their nem nuong cuon and spring rolls again. I enjoy coming for their pre packaged foods that are super easy for a quick snack or lunch time meal!

First, service is excellent. I was able to call in and place my order. The lady made recommendations on serving size and dishes. Food was delicious!!! So glad I found this place. Will be a return customer for sure. We ordered the fried rice, stir fried noodles, egg rolls, spring rolls (they can awesome make tofu one's), fried chicken, salt & pepper shrimp (the prawns are gigantic!), and lotus salad. Again, it all tasted good. My favorite was the lotus salad, very refreshing. My daughter loved the stir fried noodles. All yummy!

I ordered 50 eggrolls and the salt and pepper shrimps for Thanksgiving dinner because it's easier to do than make it myself. I found this on Yelp and decided to give them a try. When I called to place my order it was very easy and the young lady who helped me was very helpful. When I went to go pick up my order, the young lady there was very friendly and kind. The eggrolls were very fresh, crispy and tasty. My family and I were quite satisfied with the eggrolls and the salt and pepper shrimps, the shrimps were huge. I highly recommend them and will be ordering from them for future parties. They are located in the BofA plaza with a huge parking lot.
