Im korean and soondae soup is like my soul food. This branch of moobongri is not tasty at all. The deep rich flavor of other moobongri branch was not here and I'm so disappointed with this one. Trust me guys, it was bland and it shouldn't taste like this.

All you taste are some spices and the iron and gamey flavor of the meat was too strong. Bad flavor lingers in your mouth afterwards. Kimchi was also way too sweet.

The Togo containers are also very inconvenient. They seal it as opposed to having a lid. Opening soups and kimchi could get very messy so you have to be very careful.

The server and the owner of this store made my day. Their service minds are unbelievably good. Felt like I went to a Michelin star restaurant. The portion was huge which made me understand their price for the pots.

Tried 무봉리&순대국 (Moobongri Soondae) at the H Mart food hall, a well-known Korean chain with 30+ years in Korea and many of U.S. locations (CA, Vegas, Texas, Denver, Chicago, Oakland… they’re everywhere).

Their specialty is soondae soup (Korean blood sausage stew). I’ve only tried soondae once in my life when I was living in Seoul and honestly was traumatized by the iron/bloody taste so I didn’t dare order it again.

I went for the spicy stir-fried squid instead. Flavor was good and pretty authentic, but definitely on the spicy side though - perfect with beer/drinks and rice.
Side dishes tasted good, too.

The cashier was friendly!

Overall, the taste feels very Korean and true to the original chain. Worth trying if you’re exploring classic Korean comfort food!

What a joke. The food is pre packaged food! Even down to the rice for $20-$30 per dish! Plus only 3 pieces of brisket. A sham for even food court food. And the broth was not broth unless you say one teaspoon watered down with 10 oz of water. I didn’t put the prepackaged salt into the broth so one can tell it was primarily water.

In response to owner response, they were not sealed in front of me.

The spicy pork bulgogi and soonde soup was amazing — perfectly seasoned with just the right kick of heat. The dish was fresh, flavorful, and very satisfying. The staff were welcoming and the service was quick. Great spot for anyone craving authentic Korean flavors!”

Ordered the bibimbap. Like several of the dishes we ordered from other vendors in this food court, it was overpriced for the small amount of food and there was maybe less than 1 ounce of meat.
