I’ve been a long time customer of My Hiep Bakery, especially the location on Bolsa and Ward, which I visited for many years. That original store is now permanently closed, so I came to this location instead.
I usually enjoy their traditional mooncakes, particularly the Gà Quay 2 Trứng and Thập Cẩm 2 Trứng. Unfortunately, at this location, the mooncakes are not as fresh as the ones from the previous store I used to go to.
Parking here is quite limited, which can be inconvenient. However, the staff is friendly and welcoming .
I hope to see improvements in product freshness to match the quality My Hiep has been known for.

Disgusting. Their overly sweet mochi cake that lacks pandan flavor/aroma made us feel sick after eating only a quarter of the cake. Their mung bean with duck eggs had a funky salty metalish after-taste. Felt nasty after eating a quarter of it as well. Going to throw the other two cakes we haven't tried away. Not worth the gamble.

My Hiep Bakery is known to be Orange County's #1 Mooncake Bakery. I was gifted some of these wonderful treats for the Lunar New Year. I don't know too much of the history but am thankful for friends who extend this tradition so that we can experience and celebrate with them.
The one I tried was a Mung Bean with 1 Egg (#11 mooncake). It was really good!

Be careful when you buy moon cake from the shop . I bought a lot of that as a gift to my family . They sold me some of them have white and green mold on that . I’m too far to return. I spent almost $300 for those cakes so disappointed

Spent $45 for just three small cakes. The flavor is tooooooo sweet. The aroma is overly strong. I wish I had a better experience and that I would have read the reviews here first. Would’ve saved me time and money better spent elsewhere.

I bought moon cake here many years, but this time when i want to pay my credit card but a staff asked me have to pay credit card fees .She told me that 's from credit card owner not by bakery.

Bought bánh khoai mì here and it was stale. It appears to have declined in the past few years.Last year, we spent $500 on bánh tét near the Lunar New Year. Gave them to friends and shipped to other states. It turned out the bánh tét was not fully cooked. So bad. We lost face for sending bad stuffs from the heart of Little Saigon. This year, we make our own. No more My Hiep.

We bought 12 bags of beef jerky with price tags on it and the rude cashier told us they priced it wrong so he upped the price by $2 ($17 to $19) instead of honoring the price that was on the bag. If a business made a mistake, they should give us some type of discount honor.

This place sells old banh. Very unethical. Bought 4 today and threw them all away. Basically a gamble when you buy stuff at this place bc it has been good in the past, but I’ve been given old stuff several times. Be careful
