Don’t come here. Worst customer service. 2nd time I come and they tell me they can’t take my order when I got here at 8pm and they close at 9pm. I even called an hour ahead for a number 3 and when I got here they had told me they had no more shrimp when they could have told me this on the phone. Very disappointed. I been a return customer for a while but not coming back again.

Their mì Nam Vang is flavorful, the fried Cornish hen plate is a must-try, and their chè ba màu is the best—except it doesn’t just have three colors, but seven! This is the only place that offers it. Plus, their sương sáo nước dừa is incredibly tasty! Every time I visit California, I have to stop by and buy 5–6 cups to bring back to Las Vegas and enjoy later. The owner is kind and friendly, making the experience even better.
The service is fast, and the atmosphere feels like a cozy, no-frills Vietnamese eatery. If you’re craving tasty Vietnamese food without breaking the bank, this is the place to go! Just remember to bring cash—they don’t accept cards.
Fun fact: Although the restaurant is called Nha Hang $1.99, there’s no $1.99 dish—most meals are actually $10.99!

The food here hasn’t changed a bit. The fried Cornish hen plate is their signature from like 30 years ago. Only the prices have changed from its original name of the restaurant. But considering the times and inflation it’s still a cheap place to eat. I don’t think they ever remodeled bc it looks pretty much the same. The service is ok, not the friendliest.

Would not take my boss there to get a promotion. The Che Thai is very good and cheap. Ask for easy ice so you can enjoy the dessert not the ice. Pay attention to what they charge when you pay. Hopefully, they don't sneak in $10 here and there for extra rice or a cold tap water(which supposed to be free).
