Papaya Salad

Tasty place, hidden gem. We were traveling and were recommended to check this place out. It was our son's birthday and they went out of their way to make everything smooth and delicious! If we had any concern, it was simply the noise level. It was a little loud because there were so many people. I am Laotian and I was looking forward to my favorite soup, ka prak. Instead of getting the real Lao ka prak noodles, we were instead served pre-made udon noodles. The waitress admitted it was udon noodles. Soup was not authentic and should not be advertised as ka prak on the menu. The service and the decor of the restaurant were very nice though.

The fourth star was for presentation. They had all-around nice presentation, but the food was only okay to me. They used cocktail shrimp, which had brine written all over. The chicken wings starter had potential, but what ruined it was that it was fried twice. That gave it a good crunch, but it also gave it a bit of a burnt flavor.
