I go to this old Vietnamese restaurant once in a while. Every time I would order Vietnamese raw beef flat noodle, there is not much change from the taste before. The soup is clear but very tasty and very rich taste of beef. There are two large and thick slices of beef, the flat noodle was cooked just right. It was served with lime and red pepper, but it would be even more delicious if serving bay leaves as well. Maybe I arrived at about 2:30 in the afternoon and the beverage bar was taking break, there was not much choice of drinks, only lime honey and chrysanthemum honey are available. I did order lime honey, unfortunately it is super bland and tasteless?

They have a stall set up at the lunar new year festival and I was sold sub par cold egg rolls. The food was served with little care for its quality instead they seemed relieved to off load aged food onto me and my family. He man seemed nice so I bumped up his review by one star.

Newest nhau place. Located inside the mall. You need to go thru the mall back door in the evening since the mall only open during the day. Plenty of parking for sure.

This is one of the oldest restaurants in Causeway Bay. Since opening in 1979, Perfume River has been serving Vietnamese pho and other typical dishes. The lunch menu is a better option although price is far from cheap. Beef pho is mild. Spring rolls is hot and crispy. Service is mediocre.

First of all, forget Vietnamese food. Despite its full name of 'Perfume River Vietnamese Restaurant', it isn't. It's Cantonese Vietnamese and as such, fairly bland and sticky. The surroundings are unprepossessing, but that's OK and families might enjoy its casual ambience with the food coming quickly so kids won't get bored. They'll be fine with the food too -- satays, pancakes, noodles and so on. Adults might want to ask for a little chopped chilli and sliced limes to spice things up.
