I’m shocked at the high rating for this place. We went here after our volunteer work and were starving. This was closed by so we came. Big big mistake! My pho bò viên tasted old and weird. I added more chili and hoisin sauce to see if that helped…NOPE! I could not eat anymore. My husband had bún bò and it was so bland. He dumped the entire container of shrimp paste into it. The woman at the front desk kept screaming at these two old ladies, who helped bringing out the food! It was embarrassing and I felt bad for the wait staff. Don’t waste your time and money. Go to Pho 101 instead.

Ordered the vermicelli bowl and Dac Biet for me and my wife. Glad my wife is aware of what she eats because there was a rusted bolt and washer in her vermicelli. We showed the staff and they immediately took both away, asked if we wanted another, which we lost our appetites after seeing that. So we just paid the check, at least they didn't charge us for the bowl, but paid everything else. That's a first for us. Not eating here anymore.

They make really good pho and the service is great.
I’ve gone here ever since I was little boy and I’m still not sure why my family loves this place so much. The bowls are relatively affordable and they have tasted consistently good for over 15 years perhaps it’s trip down memory lane for my family. It’s never too crowded and the pho tastes authentic. Also it’s cash only, but they do have an ATM machine.

This place used to serve delicious pho, and I have told many of my friends in the past, but it was terrible today. There were only two employees during the busy time. I was ignored for a long time, and a server gestured he couldn’t talk so I finally walked to the cashier to order my food. Broth tasted so blunt like they put 5x water or something. The prices have increased a lot too. I still said thank you to this bad service, but they did not say thank you at all even in Vietnamese. I will not come back again.

Craving ox tail soup? Pho Vie has got your back. The best ox tail pho. Hands down!
Served with rice noodles and an extra plate and utensils, because they know exactly what they are doing here. You will need the extra plate for your meat. Brought the cousins visiting from Kansas City, because KC is missing out on cultural foods like this. Very entertaining watching them devour their bowls of pho and go at the fall-off-the-bone pieces of ox tail.
Nicely seasoned, rich flavorful broth.
Service can be a little tricky if you need a customized dish and you do not speak Vietnamese. Otherwise just let the wait staff know the number of the dish or point at the menu item.
Downside: cash only. However, they do provide an ATM inside the restaurant.
