Service was fast but the food is not worth the price nor good. They use beef broth for the chicken pho. All the veggies taste dirty as if they don't wash them. The smell of the beef and chicken pho smells like spilled eggs. The broth taste like tap water. I've been to many phos spots and this is not one I'd go to ever again.

I've been coming here for over 10 years. Their service and food never disappoint! I get their rare steak and brisket pho, sooo delicious. I have ordered to-go plenty of times and the food still hits the same as if you're dining in. I showed my cousins this place and now this is their favorite pho spot.

Here’s a draft of a review for Pho 54: Disappointing Pho Experience I was quite surprised to find that the broth at Pho 54 was a Tom Yum style instead of the traditional Pho broth. While the broth itself was okay, it was a bit too salty for my taste. The seafood in the bowl was a mixed bag. There were small pieces of fish, shrimp, and clam, but unfortunately, they tasted quite average and had the texture of frozen seafood. Overall, there was nothing particularly special about this Pho, and I’m glad it was only $14. I wouldn’t have been willing to pay more for this meal.

Update 10/22/23: the amount of condiments in Vietnamese herbs that goes into the pho has been greatly reduced. Prices are at least $12 and up. Because of this I will reduce one star.

Our Pho spot for life! Great ambience and even better food. The service is wonderful.
There is a great variety of meats to choose from for your pho as well other dishes. Ingredients are fresh and the flavors are authentic.
Nowadays a small bowl cost so much. $16+ without drinks after tax. Plus tip is $18. Just for one small tiny bowl of Pho. It’s expensive. Reasonable cost should’ve been $13 total after tax like how it was. I think restaurants used Covid to ride on it and overcharge long after Covid is already over

REVIEW IS FOR SERVICE ONLY: They are not attentive at all, you have to search for them to ask for a water refill or anything else. Another thing they are doing now is implementing a $20 minimum for using your credit card, which is illegal. When they implemented this, they also took away the napkins, chopsticks, and spoons. They bring them to you. Such a shame, the food is great, but they’re being way too cheap and unreasonable. I won’t go back just because I rarely carry cash with me, and they won’t take my debit card (even though they legally have to take it if they are accepting credit cards, despite the minimum purchase). Also, service sucks.
