Remarkable little restaurant. I've tried many hu tieu places like hu tieu phuong, de nhat, grandpa's dry kitchen and etc. This and de nhat is definitely my go to for hu tieu. Tastes pretty similar to vietnam's og.
This is hu tiếu Mỹ Tho. So this style is sweeter than other versions and their noodle is more chewy. Kudos to the owner for staying true to their root. The price is just right. The steam bun is superior than Yummy across the street. I grown up in Việt Nam eating at their original store there every months. This is as close as it gets.
My first time here since I found the famous banh bao while I was in vn.
I ordered hủ tíu đặc biệt with a big piece of rib. Soup bowl with good size and serve with a fresh vegie dish. I wished the broth should has deeper taste. In general hủ tíu is good. I will be back to try the "dry hủ tíu" and bánh bao.
