I can’t tell you enough how much I love this restaurant! Their canh bún is hands down the best in town — rich, flavorful, and authentic. It’s a family-owned place, and everyone who works here is so friendly and welcoming. You can really feel the homey vibe as soon as you walk in. I could eat here every day and never get tired of it. If you love canh bún like I do, this is an absolute must-try spot!

Canh bun isn't delicious. The price doesn't match the quality.

OMG! I haven't been here in years, about 10, and they remodeled with some great upgrades. The food had not changed too much, except for the greens are better prepared, and the broths are much lighter. In fact, it's just how I would make it if I could. LOL I'm not a great chef or anything, just another experienced person at eating out.
Let's go over the details of the upgrades:
1. The rooms are all remodeled since Covid. Especially, the bathrooms and better AC! I gave 4 stars on atmosphere because the room is not dimly lit with light background music. Oh wait, that would double the prices, right? I came for the food, not the music. (Silly grin)
2. The silverware is not the best but better, to keep the prices down, I think.
3. The service is better, still just as friendly and down to earth as you can get, but they are much faster than before. I got my coffee in less than 60 seconds and my food in less than 3 minutes (considering the restaurant was more than half full), I think that's a new record for me after eating out for 45 years!
4. All of the sauces were given on the side (so you have the choices what and how much you want), even the shrimp sauce was minimal in the little tiny cup (covered, because of the strong odor). Yeah, some people would run out of the door if they are not use to this odor. Or even worse, ignorance guys like me used to put all of it in my soup and suffer from eating way too much salt. Yes, the geniuses behind the preparations and servings are smarter than most.
5. Last but not least, some reviews claimed that the price rose to high. I disagree 100 percent! I ordered a large bowl of noodles with escargot and an ice cappuccino (Vietnamese Style, of course) that came out to 20 dollars even. I left 2 dollars tip (10%), that I wish I could have left 5 dollars(25%), which is what they deserve for the not great service, but awesome! I will have to over tip them next time. (Chuckle)
In summary, I recommend this restaurant over most other Vietnamese Authentic Restaurants in the Southern California Area. For those who disagree, please write to me directly on Google's Platform. Thank you for reading and sharing!
Cheers and happy dining everyone.
Note: I'm not paid for by anyone for good or bad reviews. LOL But you prefer to read a more biased review, there's lots of them out there. This note is only added to my extreme reviews.

It’s good but I don’t like how the price not the same every time. Sometimes $13 then $14 then $15+ within weeks. Sometimes even sometimes odd with coin change. I feel like they just change increase or set the price different any time they want. Usually more…
I like to come here every time we go to Cali (from out of state), I ordered the same canh bun (only here for the bun bowl) but this time, after finished the whole bowl and was on the road trip back home, I felt super tired and super sleepy (the bun soup must have some sugar, MSG, or some kinda ingredients) ..felt really weird, tired but not like normal tired. Spent >$50 with other stuffs at the restaurant but got knocked out sleepy 🤣😇
A typical Vietnamese address, specializing in vermicelli dishes, suitable taste, hot dishes, fresh food and diverse choices for those who love Vietnamese cuisine. Surprisingly, in the Westminster area there is vermicelli Suong, a pure Southern dish with fresh shrimp ingredients, crushed and mixed with spices, creating a crispy, sweet, chewy feeling when used with vermicelli and the stewed soup is very fragrant and delicious. High recommendation this .

Closed at 6:00 pm but at 4:45 pm the floor was cleaned 😳 even though the restaurant is not very large, they forced customers to sit in one row to clean the floor 🫣
I don't know about everyone, but eating suddenly loses its appetite. Because I used to work in a restaurant, I rarely cleaned an hour before, so unless there were no customers sitting there 😐
For the price of $14 for vermicelli soup, the crab looks like a lot of eggs but doesn't smell like crab, 2 pieces of tofu + 2 small pieces of blood + 2 thin pieces of fish cake + water spinach and water spinach
Let me know when I eat because I heard that this place specializes in noodles
This place has been here for a very long time and known for all its bun dishes. Not much has changed so that’s a plus. The food here is always good. ?

It was a nice rainy day to enjoy the broth and noodles. Ordering a vermicelli dish seems like a combination of vermicelli vermicelli and bun bo Hue but is not spicy. The noodles remind me of spaghetti. Spring rolls have a lot of meat. There is tamarind sauce to add to the broth if you want a fragrant sauce. Thw mon vegetables are also delicious in broth.
