Huge fan of their salmon and grilled prawns spring rolls! I always order the tray for parties. Make sure to call in advance. Their dipping sauces are also mixed very well. Not too sweet or too sour.

The foods here are delicious. The coffees are way better than Trung Nguyen coffee, Da Vien coffee, Phuc Long coffee, and Phin coffee to name a few.Kid-friendliness: Open oudoor and indoor sittingWheelchair accessibility: There’s wheel chair access and parking

We didn't know that this place is more of a food to go than a sit down restaurant. We wanted to try some new Vietnamese restaurant. They still have tables and seats but very limited (maybe 2 tables). We tried the shaken beef and fish maw soup. Both really good and at reasonable prices. Recommended.

It is not a seating restaurant. It is a food to go place. They are only taking cash. No credit card accepted (tax avoidance??)

In that incredible miracle mile of great Asian restaurants on Westminster Boulevard in Westminster, this has tremendously tasty food at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Best shrimp spring rolls! they open so early so it's convenient to pick up some food for lunch before I head to work

My recent visit to Sai Gon Xua was an average dining experience. The food served was decent, but it didn't particularly stand out. The dishes I tried were satisfactory in terms of taste and quality, but they lacked the uniqueness or memorable flavors that I've come to expect from top-notch restaurants. It was a standard fare that was good but not exceptional. The service aspect of Sai Gon Xua needs noticeable improvement. The staff seemed disorganized and less attentive than desired, which impacted the overall dining experience. Prompt and friendly service can significantly enhance a restaurant's atmosphere, and unfortunately, this was an area where Sai Gon Xua fell short during my visit. Additionally, it's important to note that Sai Gon Xua only accepts cash payments. This limitation can be inconvenient for customers who prefer or are accustomed to paying with cards or digital wallets. In today's increasingly cashless society, this could be a drawback for some diners. In summary, while the food at Sai Gon Xua is satisfactory, there is room for improvement in both service quality and payment convenience. If these aspects are addressed, Sai Gon Xua has the potential to offer a more rounded and enjoyable dining experience.

First time here although saw them on Yelp before. We bought the salmon rolls and shrimp rolls just to try. Their shop has other ready food for take-out and also has a list for catering. Saw that they also accept EBT which will be good for the elderly/disable who cannot cook. We like the salmon rolls better than the shrimp rolls. Will be back to try other food items.

Nice indoor and outdoor seating.Food was good. However, the ambience was spoiled almost completely by the unending, obnoxious Xmas "music" continually blasted on our eardrums.

Authentic Viet spot in the heart of Little Saigon. Came here for the spring rolls with shrimp/mango. This is the only restaurant offering this in the area! It's more of an order and to-go type of spot, and you can even order party trays for catering ahead of time. It was $8 for 3 spring rolls. They are super yummy and taste fresh. The tangy mango and bite of the crisp cucumber hit the spot! Would recommend if you want to try something new

Retro Saigon has gone under the radar for too long. Some of its dishes are not only unique, but fantastic. While other standard fare foods are about average. I guess that may be why it has been so much under the radar: if people are only trying out its standard fare foods. If you are going here, then the must try is the Prawn rolls (Sautéed prawns w. Mango aka Tom cuon xoai) and Salmon rolls (Ca Hoi cuon). These are fantastic and not found (difficult to find) anywhere else. They are always a hit when I bring them to parties, as an alternative to the same old nem rolls you get at places such as Brodard. The other item that is really good is the Fish Maw with Crab Meat Soup (Soup Bong Bong Ca). My wife always orders it when she comes here, and her pregnant friend was ordering it almost every day during her pregnancy term. It got to a point that the guy working there was willing to deliver it to her because she was so busy at work one day to go pick it up. Other than that, this is more a to go location than a sit-down restaurant. You get your items and leave or you order your items for a party and pick it up at a later time/date. Now, I haven't tried everything on the menu, but the ones I mentioned are definitely hits. Overall, I definitely love this place when I am looking for something good but different from the normal standard fare.

Was recommended from a FB group to this spot for Salmon Roll and ended up ordering the Shrimp Roll and Garlic Shrimp as well. Ordering was a smooth process and there was a change in pick up time that they informed me about which was good because I would of arrived earlier. Communication was on point and the food was excellent. Would definitely order from them again and try different items
