Their phone number was not in service as of December 3, at 11:30 AM, so I wasn't able to place a to-go order over the phone. I decided to drive to the restaurant because I thought that their phone service might have a problem. Upon arrival, their restaurant was still closed, no sign of updated hours. I wish they could have updated their restaurant information on Yelp or at the very least, post it on the door.

Tried to pick up an order for doordash. Back door near where restaurants was no prevail. Went to their back parking lot. Ask how to get to the restaurant and the worker did not help at all. They went all over the place. Never going back here again. Get some English classes so you can understand your dashers.

Went to visit my friend in OC this past weekend, I was craving Banh Canh Cua and she recommended this place. I didn't know what to expect as its been almost a year since I've dined in anywhere in OC but this place did not disappoint. It was clean no worries about covid protocols not being followed here. The service was on point and the food was delicious. Their banh canh cua was so flavorful it satisfied my cravings completely. My friend got the bun mam and it was SO good, not many places make that anymore. I'll definitely order that next time.

A friend recommended this place when I was in the area. I've never really had a lot vietnamese food before but wow! This was really good. I cleaned out the bowl of spicy beef noodle soup, and their vietnamese coffee was amazing too.

One of my favorite spots to get Bun Mam and Bun Bo Hue! The food is so fresh and delicious, I will keep coming back. There's an array of Vietnamese dishes to choose from the menu. The dishes are large portions, they're quick and attentive. I like that the owners and staff have a positive vibe which gives this place a nice atmosphere.

I had their Bun Bo Hue (spicy Vietnamese beef noodle soup) and it was just incredible! The broth was delicious, it's a rich and spicy soup with deep layers of flavor, unlike a lot of the other Bun Bo Hues I've had in the past. You could actually taste the freshness and the authenticity of the ingredients. This dish definitely had the warmth of homemade Vietnamese food. Needless to say, I finished my whole bowl and drank all the soup! I will definitely come back!!! Yes!!!

Im prettt picky on food. I've tried Bun Mam, Pha Lau, Bun rieu at many places and I have to say Sao Mai has the best Bun Mam, Bun Rieu and Pha lau. Very tasty and their veggie plates that go with their noodle are so fresh. My mom loves their food so bad. Now it becomes my regular place to go to get Bun Mam, Bun Rieu and Pha lau.

Im madly in love with the Bun Rieu and Bun Mam here. So freaking good. Service is friendly too. Highly recommend those two. Canh Bun is also pretty good too but Im a huge lover of their Bun Rieu and Bun Mam
They finally open the restaurant back after more than 5 months. The store is clean and follow the social distancing rules. I recommend bún riêu which is their best dish of all. Their bún đậu has fried fish cake which is strange, but I am not complaining because it is GREAT. The store also has unexpected perfect Thai green tea. Finally is an exceptional customer service. They lose a lot of customers during the pandemic. Please support local business ❤❤❤❤❤

I was the only one in the restaurant but the people there take there sweet time to talk among themselves. The person who took my order didn't bother to wear a mask. I ordered a shaken beef with white rice, and regretted it. The meat was so salty, some part of the rice was uncooked. Not worth $11

Shady business looks like the owner responded to my review. Excuse me what gives you the right to re-charge someone 5 months after they dined there? This not only happened to me but also to my gf --who had picked up food from this restaurant on separate ocassions. Do you always "forget to close out" so you can re-charge your customers? Pathetic excuse of a restaurant. Thank goodness for bank charge back. I'll go one step further and will report this business to the BBB.
