Heard there was new ownership so maybe the food improve but it still the same
Seafood Cove 2 offers a wide variety of dishes. However, the Chinese donuts were a bit old and not fresh, and the pot stickers were quite tough. Despite that, the overall flavors were good, and the dining experience was enjoyable.
Yummy! Can be a wait even with reservation. But the waiting was worth it! Love me some shomai!
This place always the best Chinese restaurant. Serves always the great.
If you starved me for 10 years and brought me hear I would wait another 10. I went here last Saturday at opening.
Service: No cart people at 9AM except for donuts and a new-age bun with pork bun filling in a croissant. Was told to wait for carts by one employee then told to order for basics like shu-mai and har-gow by another.
Food: Xiaolongbao, no soup and just heated in metal tins. Never given vinegar and chili until asked. It was like eating a ball of dough. Taro cake was not fresh, egg separation immediately and tasted off. Congee with salted egg? Rice with hot water no flavor.
Atmosphere: It was a restaurant. They did leave cleaning towels on our chairs when we got there. 1 cart lady rolling around.
You can go for a punishment ritual or something but I will never recommend this place
Dim sum was excellent and yummy. Love the tofu skin roll.

Nice place to have dim sum. Even though we had to wait a bit it wasn't too bad. Service was great and attentive. Go where there is a line of people. Lol
Parking: The week end is very crowded. You just have to drive around until there is an opening.

First timer to Seafood Cove 2 for lunch and followed high recommendations of others via Google. Seafood Cove 2 was the closest sit-down as we weren't familiar with the neighborhood. Seafood Cove 2 was very inviting. Bright lights, greeting at the desk, clean table cloths and place settings with pictured Dim Sum menu. No prices are listed, but the server happily explain the process and prices. No traditional steam carts and food are brought to table. The dining room is large with fresh white decor. Dim Sum was quickly served and our orders looked like the many previous reviewers pictures. The taste was good in our opinion, cooked well and not oily. Thank you to the many reviewers this place was quite desent.
