So having been to some run multiple times enjoying the food and the service. And this is not about the quality of their food at all because the food's delicious in terms of service though after eating here many many years and hopefully being recognized by employees which I wasn't which made me upset. It's kind of saddening. I came in from across the street to use the restroom. Obviously it's no public restroom but having been a customer for years I believe I feel they would make an exception or felt they would make an exception. They looked at me blank facely and said no restroom is for customers only and I don't think I've ever left a review like this but I don't believe I'll be coming back here

I enjoyed the appetizer fish cake here. The bowl of shrimp Tom yum was great with 4 plump shrimp. My pad see ew with beef was very flavorful! My partner got a spicy crispy pork dish with rice.I did not enjoy the skewerless beef satay, flavor was good but meat was a bit tough. I’d pass or get chicken next time.

Another good Thai spot to check out! I was greeted by Mike, very nice hospitality and the inside of the restaurant looked really nice and has a nice atmosphere overall. I ordered take out, Pad Thai & Pad Woon Sen with 2 Thai Coffees. Pricing is bit typical for most Thai places but would expect the containers to be bigger for the amount you pay. The taste is there though but they need to size up the to-go plates for sure. Still recommend to try!

Sumran thai used to be my favorite. I mainly go here for their spicy po-tak soup. I used uber eats again today to order my usual po-tak extra spicy. I made sure in the notes to remind them to make the soup extra extra spicy. Sadly, today I was disappointed. I'm not sure if the main chef wasn't here today or the usual server wasn't here today (to read my online order). Since i've moved, I only can use uber eats to get the food whenever i'm in the area. When I opened the soup, I immediately noticed the color was off. It wasn't the usual color it is when I order it extra extra spicy. Already, I had a bad feeling. Upon tasting it, I became sad. It tasted mild when I asked for extra spicy. I usually eat 3 bowls of rice with the soup, today I ate one. The spiciness is not there anymore. I was not sweating, there were no boogers coming out of my nose (this is what happens when I get extra spicy). Last time I uber eats the same thing, but on the side there were even extra containers of spices to make my soup spicier if I needed it to be more spicy. This time there were no extra spice containers and the soup was mild. The last time I uber eats the po - tak soup it was great and spicy, which is why I wanted to order it again since I was craving it.I probably will not be ordering again anytime soon. Not because the food is bad. The soup was okay, but since I can get okay soup at any other thai place, I probably will go there instead because it's closer. What made Sumran thai special for me was their ability to make my soup insanely spicy the way I liked it. Now that extra spicy is mild, it has become on par with other thai restaurants for me. The extra spicy soup was what made it so very very special for me. I don't have a place to go for when I am craving spicy seafood soup anymore so if anyone has any recommendations, feel free to inbox.Notice how my old review was 5 stars and I only knocked it down to 4 stars. If you look at it from the outside you might not look twice, the sign for the strip only says Thai food. Do yourself a favor and go inside, ample seating looks great and the food is delicious with many dishes to choose from. Thai food is special it’s flavorful with many different spices and levels depending on the dish , the special part is you will be full and not feel horrid afterwards. All the dishes are lite and flavorful with your choice of protein and there’s vegan options as well. This is my third time here(I’m an out of towner) and it hasn’t disappointed me yet.

Came during lunch and it wasn't crowded at all as more people did take out. It's located inside a strip mall and is actually a lot more spacious than I expected. We were greeted by two waiters, a girl and a guy, who were both so sweet and always checked up on us. We ordered the papaya salad, tom yum soup, crying tiger, and crab fried rice. The flavors and portions were great, the only downside was the crying tiger. It was so chewy, almost like rubber! I wish I brought this up to the waiter but I felt so bad as they were so kind. I'd come back for their fried rice and soup and to try other things!
1st time here today. Not bad, honestly had better thai boat. But this helped take off that 8 year old itch for thai boat noodles.There's not much rice dishes, more noodles and such.

Sumran used to be goto place for thai for last 2-3 years since we moved to the area. We always ordered takeout. On Saturday night we decided to go in and were surprised to find very few customers. We ordered pad se ew and drunken noodles. Those 2 dishes are very similar but the difference in quantity was day and night.One was served with some lettuce leaves to make quantity look more sitting on top of some more fillers. It was 50% of the quantity we get when we ordered takeout. The pad se ew was maybe 20% less than what we get when we do togo.Looking at recent reviews i guess they are skimping on the quantity for to go orders too. Guys, please raise the prices and stop shrinkflation . This place would be a hard sell until recent reviews point otherwise now. The food here is really good. 5/5 but quantity is appetizer size for entree.
Came on a Friday evening, parking was okay. Small stripe like mall, nothing fancy. Entered and got seated right away. Ambiance pretty modern, almost seems out of place for the area.Service was great. They are friendly and always available when you needed something. Food was yummy! We had curry, crying tiger, pad se ew and tom yum noddle soup. All flavorful, good portion and delicious.We will be back for sure. Nice find!
