I hate leaving a bad review. Service is friendly however, I ordered the 1lb calamari to go and found a long black strand of hair in my food. Needless to say, I couldn’t finish it and wound up throwing the food away.

More 4.5 than 4! Great place for groups or casual date night. Your usual neighborhood crab boil, sauce was good but lackibg some pop. Tried their 2x spicy and it was more filler than thriller. Fries and Po Boy sliders were SUPERB! Calamari was a hit as well! If youre going for flavored iced teas, ask for double syrup! Service was A-1! One of the guys had a fire spotify mix up, so gd food + gd music is win/win! Great place!

It was my first time ordering from here. Was about to order 3 or 4 separate pounds of seafood, with corn, & sausages. But saw they had the Mardi Gras Combo. Which listed a 3 lbs of seafood, corn, & sausages (2) anyways with options of 4 ounce lobster tail, squid, clam, mussel, shrimp, orcrawfish. First of all Lobster tail wasn't even listed to choose an option, didn't get my corn, or sausages. The flavor was fine, comparable to my usual spots, missing something though, & the crawfish were large at least. I would have been better off ordering sepetate items, it would have been more pricey but I would have gotten more, & actually recieved my items (hopefully at least)

I have loved this place for many years too but my love for food is directly correlated to cost and so a groupon is s must. The only joke i can make is they charge more for take out than eating in but refuse to include a table sheet with take out. I wish economic success for this business.

Amazing food and amazing flavor! The crawfish, shrimp, clams, and mussels were HUGE and so fresh. Customer service was so sweet and helpful. Definitely a must try when you’re in the area and craving some seafood!!!

Tucked away from the bustling crowds, this hidden gem served up some of the best crawfish we've ever tasted. Our server, Karmen, made our experience truly memorable with her attentive service and warm hospitality. Despite the restaurant not being too busy, Karmen and the boy helping her make sure that we felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout our meal.What truly impressed us was the genuine kindness and generosity displayed by the staff. Despite our initial oversight in not having enough cash for a tip, Karmen graciously allowed us to linger, refilling our waters and making us feel right at home in the neighborhood. Moreover, the boy helping her went the extra mile by offering to change the TV channel to accommodate my husband's preference for the baseball game.As newcomers to the area, this level of hospitality meant the world to us. Even though Karmen didn't receive a tip initially, her professionalism and warmth never wavered. In fact, her genuine care left such a positive impression that my husband made a special trip back to the ATM just to ensure she received the appreciation she deserved.In summary, Cajun Islands is more than just a restaurant; it's a place where delicious food meets exceptional service and genuine kindness.
