It was frozen crawfish. The corn was half cold and had no flavor. The potato garlic fries were very crispy! Overall not the best but good enough to come back.

My husband and I stumbled upon Cajun Islands last Saturday, and it was an absolute delight. Tucked away from the bustling crowds, this hidden gem served up some of the best crawfish we've ever tasted. Our server, Karmen, made our experience truly memorable with her attentive service and warm hospitality. Despite the restaurant not being too busy, Karmen and the boy helping her make sure that we felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout our meal. What truly impressed us was the genuine kindness and generosity displayed by the staff. Despite our initial oversight in not having enough cash for a tip, Karmen graciously allowed us to linger, refilling our waters and making us feel right at home in the neighborhood. Moreover, the boy helping her went the extra mile by offering to change the TV channel to accommodate my husband's preference for the baseball game.As newcomers to the area, this level of hospitality meant the world to us. Even though Karmen didn't receive a tip initially, her professionalism and warmth never wavered. In fact, her genuine care left such a positive impression that my husband made a special trip back to the ATM just to ensure she received the appreciation she deserved. In summary, Cajun Islands is more than just a restaurant; it's a place where delicious food meets exceptional service and genuine kindness. We'll definitely be returning soon to enjoy more of their Cajun food . Thank you Cajun islands!

Originally we were going to go to Boiling Crab but it was an hour wait! My fiancé called ahead and they said they'll be able to seat us at Cajun Islands. It's a small family owned business and they're super friendly. The customer service is amazing and one thing that will keep us coming back. The food...is so good! The sauce, and everything overall, tastes better than other places. The ambiance is so calm and welcoming. We didn't feel rushed when eating, were checked on multiple times, food is super good, the crawfish was fresh, and just felt so welcomed. We will definitely be coming back and bringing our family with us. Thank you! It was the perfect birthday dinner! 3/23/24 Edit: I forgot to mention this because we only noticed after I wrote the review and we got home; and I just haven't had time to go back until now, but we had ordered muscles and shrimp to go for our family to share at home. However, when we got home we had been given crawfish and shrimp. Definitely not what we wanted and paid for.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cajun Islands Restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a charming atmosphere. The food was absolutely phenomenal. I highly recommend Cajun Islands Restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious taste of the South. Can't wait to come back for more!

This place is amazing to go with friends or family. The service is very good and the servers are super nice super out going as well. Bill and Eric were our servers for the night and they treated us very well and made sure we felt comfortable kept checking in on us to know how we're doing as well. I recommend this place for the food, service.

I came in on a Friday evening. The place wasn't busy so no waiting in line. The place has a really welcoming vibe to it. It's like your out to see somewhere in the ocean. Happy hour was really cool I believe it's every day from 3-6 and they have some really tasty items and drinks. The taste and flavor was on point the shrimp that I ordered was cool too nothing to complain about. I recommend for sure just a little heads up U can purchase a Groupon to save a little bit of cash. However the Groupon it's just for the seafood by itself so u end up buying other items on the menu so it can be pricey!!!

My wife and I ate here twice as she bought GroupOns and both times the crawfish was pretty bad. We've tried "viet canjun" crawfish everywhere that we can. The seasoning sauce here has a awkward sweetness to it and their butter did not taste like butter. I usually try gumbo at every place that serves gumbo and what this place is trying to pass off as gumbo is a travesty. I think this is the first time I didn't finish the a bowl of gumbo anywhere as I couldn't force myself to eat it any further past a few scoops. Our waiter who was very nice suggested that we get a hardboiled egg tossed in there. It was nothing special, its just a hard boiled egg that you burn your fingers peeling and there's no cajun infused flavor in the egg unless you continually dip the egg in the sauce bag which was what I did. Yeah we get that crawfish is out of season right now which is why we chose to do half shrimp and half crawfish.Their swamp fries were ok, but it gets really oily really fast, we suspect that their oil isn't being cycled out often enough or they're not waiting for it to get hot enough before cooking the fries. The second time we came here we tried the garlic butter fries and it was pretty much the same thing, really oily with garlic and parmesan cheese. The shrimp was ok, it was basically boiled shrimp that they dumped into their sweet cajun sauce. Over all it was an ok experience, was a clean place and staff were very friendly. The food is pretty terrible so we'll most likely not come back.

I was curious about this place also being a big fan of seafood. Since I had to eat small dinner we ordered lb of naked shrimp so already peeled. Also Cajun fried rice was amazing with a great taste. Not too dry and shrimp had a bold yet tint of spice but I loved it. Clam chowder was so good with the texture not too watery love it!
