The cashier works at 2:45 pm on April 14, 2025, was rude, arrogant and ignorant. She shouldn't deal with the public at all, especially serving the public.
If she has a rough day, stay home. Don't bring the unhappyness disease to work, and shows her rudeness towards the customers.

Great food and service but the location is bad. Homeless people are everywhere asking for money and doing drugs in broad daylight, blankets and trash are left in front of shops, and it smells like urine outside. A homeless man even followed a man and his kid into the bakery asking for money and stood there the whole time as they ordered and paid.

The Banh mi is the best and affordable, so it is the only reason I keep coming back. However at this location, there is a lot of disorganization and miscommunication between the register and the kitchen about orders. The flow of taking orders and handing out orders is quick but there is no orderly fashion of who is the next customer in line and who is waiting, so it creates impatience and confusion between customers. The two register workers are managing their best but you can tell they are overwhelmed. This was an observation over a period of 15 minutes of waiting for my order.

10:22 am Sat 21 Oct. "#1 Banh Mi Yummy" by itself was fantastic (esp at $6) but i wanted a extra meat so i got a $13/lb Heo Quay (crispy pork). Friendly staff and they have a small (just enough space for 3 stools) counter seating against the window facing the sidewalk.
