We brought in our infant at 4:30pm and didn’t expect them to adjust to us- we understand it’s a bar and grill. The kind bartender turned down the music a little bit, came over many times to say hi to the baby. FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE!! People were all fun. Pricing was cheaper than Sacramento and tasted delicious. We had to write a review. We will now stop in every time we pass thru.

Great local hole in the wall, our food was good and the service was great!
Excellent food. Burgers were delicious and inexpensive.
There is a self serve food order window behind the pool table and drinks are ordered from the bar.
This is a bar. The kind without window and dusty artifacts.
Good location for a quick bite on your way to the Toyota Amphitheater for a concert.

Always been a great place for food and a cold beer . Nice place to stop by after a day at the lake .
This small town gem has an old bar feel with modern amenities. Whether you're looking for a cold drink or food, this place has what you're looking for. The staff is friendly and they offer a bar side and restaurant side to accommodate families.

Went in around 5 p.m. on a Thursday to get a drink after a stressful past few weeks. It was very accessible and relatively empty with maybe 4 people at the bar when I arrived. They didn't have any cognac, so I ordered a double shot of bourbon (Woodford Reserve) on the rocks. The price came up to $17, which I felt was a bit steep. I looked at the menu as a means of reconnaissance, might I wish to order food on my next visit. Menu looked good despite seeming a bit peicey, but I didn't try any food, so I can't speak to its quality. I ordered a $3 bottle of Budweiser, used the bathroom, and then left after staying for roughly an hour or so.
In general, it's not a particularly impressive place, and it lacked a bit in the diversity aspect, in terms of the people being present there.. However, the bartender was extremely welcoming, the people were no less friendly, and the place gets a standard A for accessibility (bathrooms and all). I look forward to returning and trying the food and would genuinely recommend anyone looking for a bar in downtown #Wheatland to try #BillsPlace out.

Food was decent on 15 Feb. Service was hit or miss - male server seemed uninterested to clear plates or top off water. Female bar server was a little more attentive.
Fantastic prices and phenomenal food!
We chose this spot while waiting for our sons football game to start (2 1/2 hours from warm ups to game start) because of its good reviews. Service was great, food was amazing and everything was clean. We had fried pickles and split a cheeseburger, both were soooo good.
Drinks and beer were good too!
