“I had the all meat pizza made to order, garlic fries, a salad with their specialty ranch dressing, and a drink. I also dipped my pizza in it. Very good comfort food. You could have beer, but I chose a fountain drink. They have TV screens showing cable news. You can ask to watch sports, like the World Cup and they will accommodate. There is a party room. It's family owned and usually students from Wheatland that work there.”

We ordered the salt and pepper wings, the Sizzling Three Kind, and the chicken chow mein. Unfortunately, they were out of the chow fun, but we'll definitely be back to try it next time.

The customer service was a 10/10. The woman who helped us was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive.

The food arrived hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. Each table was stocked with everything you could need, including Sriracha, chili oil, oyster sauce, soy sauce, salt, and pepper, which was a nice touch.

The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable dining experience. Overall, this place is absolutely worth trying. It has officially earned a spot in my top three favorite restaurants in the area. Such a hidden gem!”

“The best service was definitely delivered!! From the start being greeted to the services at the table. The general chicken was perfectly cooked melted in my mouth. The chicken lettuce wraps also full of flavor with the sauce from the cream cheese Rangoon's omg was so scrumptious!! The boba Thai tea was the best final touch to the meal!! Oh and the brown rice that was offered definitely sprinkled some zest into the meal with nutrients. Thank you again!!!! We will definitely be back soon!”

“Just had another great meal at Council Oak on Sunday (5/10/26). It was excellent, as usual. Not only was the food great, the people always take such good care of us (special shout out to Maria and Livvy, great job ladies!) After a long day working Mother's Day, we saw no let down on the food or service. You could tell the staff had been working their butts off and were tired, but it did not stop them, real troopers. It is our favorite place for fine dining in the area, and will remain so as long as they keep it up like the other night. Excellent! Don't pass up the Bananas Foster, not only is it a great show, it is SOOOO yummy!”

“I’ll be honest; a lot of the negative reviews discouraged from wanting to try this buffet but I’m glad I did because EVERY SINGLE THING I ate here was good! Even the desserts were good and I usually don’t even eat buffet desserts (the bread pudding and cheesecake 🔥🔥🔥) My grandmother ate all her food as well and loved it! $58 for all you can eat lobster and crab??? You literally can’t beat that! And yes, the lobster and crab were both hot and very good! 10/10!!!!”

“Stopped in after reading the reviews and was not disappointed. Fish and chicken strips with chips (#5) was a perfect portion with 3 chicken strips and 1 pretty good sized piece of fish. The batter on the fish was light and crispy and the chicken was just the way I like it — a little bit crunchy, hot, and served with cold ranch. Another patron ordered his “usual” — the Spicy Day and Lincoln rolls, both of which looked good enough that I’ve already decided that’s what I’ll try next time I come in. Portions were perfect relative to price. The restaurant was clean, cool, and inviting. They have a nice assortment of canned and bottled beverages. Friendly staff who clearly take pride in the product and service they deliver. Definitely recommend giving them a go. I’ll be back for sure, even if it is 20 minutes away.”
