J Cafe - A Great Spot for Coffee and a Bite!
I recently stopped by J Cafe for a quick coffee and sandwich, and I was thoroughly impressed. The staff was incredibly friendly and more than willing to accommodate my dietary restrictions. I must say, the cappuccino with coconut milk was delicious—one of the best I’ve had in a while!
I also ordered a Reuben with pastrami, and even though I asked to exclude the Swiss cheese and replace the rye bread with a gluten-free option, it still tasted fantastic. The food and service at J Cafe are top-notch. Definitely worth a visit!
Dietary restrictions: Has gluten & dairy free options.

Pretty disappointed, I just bought a "Caprese" sandwich with no fresh basil, two slices of tomato, and sparse mozzarella for $11....this was a rip off, I used to expect better from Humboldtbusinesses, now the disappoint is normal. I would rather buy the ingredients and make it myself.

Great for a quick coffee stop
This place was heaven-sent after finishing 3 days on the Lost Coast trail. It closes pretty early (3 pm) but we finished the trail early and made it here at 2:30 pm. I thought it would be in a town or something but it was in a…lumber yard? Open air Home Depot? We circled the grounds once before finding it. And even though the sign said open there was no one at the register. We hungrily waited for a few min contemplating our next move, but someone came back! She said they were out of ham and turkey but she was able to make substitutions for us. The sandwiches were seriously amazing. The bread was pillowy and hot, the fillings were so generous. It was absolutely on par with an SF sandwich shop and the most memorable post-backpacking meal to date!

by far the best sandwiches I've eaten in my entire life. We were travelers from Tennessee
The mocha, breakfast sandwich and special lemon pine nut cake were incredible. I would recommend stopping no matter what time, as the sandwiches and pizza looked fantastic. The service was great and the staff was friendly and helpful.
This place was great. Purchased two breakfast sandwiches (they were out of pastrami) and a mocha. Food was delicious.
Very good sandwich
