Loved it! How can a restaurant/bar in the middle of nowhere be so good? I don't know, but somehow Gyppo Ale Mill pulls it off. My partner & I were treated to great food & beverages, plus super friendly service, when we chanced upon this place. Must do when you have come all the way down to see the lighthouse! Stuff for the kids to do, great place to relax and enjoy your company with a view of the ocean. The fish and chips here were some of my favorite I have ever eaten, EVER. Trust my big pretty back on this. Dog friendly. Friendly staff.
This is a really cool microbrewery! Great lawn in the back with games to play and a view of the airstrip and ocean! Very friendly staff with great attitude. And the beers are really good as well! Shelter Cove is unbelievably off the beaten path, but that is probably why it's so cool! Go there and enjoy!
