Bay Area restaurant quality cuisine, in the hidden gem that is Shelter Cove. The food is delicious, the service is excellent and the atmosphere is friendly, for kids too. You must try the empanadas!
Had an excellent meal. Started with the Mini Empanadas. Then fresh caught fish abd the traditional Stewed Beef with beans & rice. And the Venezuela Lemonaid was just wow. Go there. You won't be disappointed!!

If you're reading this review, there's a decent chance you're desperately trying to eek a few kilobytes out of your internet connection to find a good place to eat. Let me make your search easier:
If you want to utter 'f me that's good' under your breath, go here.
In terms of food, this place is easily the best in Shelter Cove. We're talking about phenomenal dishes and the best empanadas I've ever been blessed to devour.
The view is great, but all the Shelter Cove restaurants can say the same. Mi Mochmia is so good it'll distract you from the ocean view.
If I don't eat here again before I die, I've died too soon.

This is not only the best dining experience in Shelter Cove, it’s one of the best in all of Nor Cal. The food is phenomenal and homemade. The service is super friendly, caring and fun. My top recommend to any backpackers of The Lost Coast is to begin and end your journey here

Very sad we didn't get to try the food because it looks amazing. Google says open until 9pm but we got there at 8:35 and they said the kitchen closes at 8:30. Plan accordingly!
What a great place to be. Food, service, and the view are amazing. The plates are made with such care and love. Simple and healthy ingredients. We even had a guy playing violin outside for our meal with the sunset over the ocean. Empanadas are a 10. We will be back.

We had dinner here on a weekend. We were seated right away. It looks like they have more outside seating than inside however the glass walls did a good job of keeping us warm. The food arrived quickly and was good. The staff were very good. My pineapple drink was fresh squeezed and a refreshing change.

Mi Mochima is such a delight! I had the fresh fish and sangria, and they were both delicious. The sangria is probably the very best I've ever had in my life! The staff are attentive and friendly, and the views of the ocean are lovely. Highly recommend!

Very friendly staff, good food, but at this area where it is isolated to the world when you don't have cell phone signal, and this restaurant don't have wifi. I am wondering if they just don't want to share it or what, because I can see there are wifi called NETGEAR, this is certainly a wifi modem signal and it was very strong, no other business near them. So certainly the wifi was from them. Again, if you do have wifi, just share with your guests, it doesn't cost much, and your guests need wifi.

Amazing food and wonderful, friendly servers. So glad we chose to eat here. Even though they were busy Indiana took the time to talk with us and give us some family history and background of the restaurant. We had a crab empanada, fresh fish dinner and a Mi bowl...rice, beans, lettuce, avocado and chicken. Would definitely go again if we return to Shelter Cove.
