My family and I are so very disappointed with this restaurant. We drove in from Riverside to celebrate my mom's birthday. Checked in at a decent time and were given a 35 minute wait time. After 45 minutes passed they couldn't tell us if we'd ever be seated. I believe this is due to the restaurant workers allowing their guests (who were they taking up tables ) to protest against Palestine protesters. It was awful to stand by waiting and watching their favorites guests cause scenes . The unprofessionalism from this restaurant is beyond me and my mother's birthday breakfast was completely ruined. Sad to say I've heard their food is good but I'll never know because i couldn't never go back to a restaurant who would allow that. (Not that we are against anyone speaking freely but omg we just came for breakfast...)

Such a great place to have breakfast . Their burritos are so huge that you can share it . The French toast was so yummy too. The customer service was excellent . I loved the decor outside .

It was 11:30 am on a Saturday morning. It was very crowded upon arrival but waited 40 minutes for a table. We ordered our food and it took 20-25 minutes to get our waters. Kind of annoyed, as it was hot outside, on the patio. The long wait was probably my only complaint. I ordered the classic pancakes with scrambled eggs with a potato side. My friend ordered a skillet dish. The food came out on bright blue plates and the pancakes were so fresh. I'm literally obsessed!! Hehe. The eggs were cooked well and everything was delicious. We met "Auntie" as she came to our table and said some really kind words. I asked if she was the manager and she corrected me and said, the owner. I'm Auntie! That's sooooo cool! My friend and I will definitely return when we visit Whittier again!!!

The location is lovely, but the experience was ok. From the moment we ordered, it took 40 minutes to get our food; the server did not check on us nor gave us an update. We ordered an avocado toast with an egg and a Cobb Salad; they were basic. Not worth waiting for 40 minutes. In addition, the egg on the avocado toast and the bread were cold.

The food was bland. Would suggest having salt and pepper on your tables, the staff is too busy to stop by so we couldn't even ask for some. The service was slow, the staff is nice but it doesn't make up for the slow service. Got served a cold out of the fridge coffee cake after we asked for it to be warmed up. Once again, couldn't tell the staff because they're too busy and would only stop by to drop off our things. Which arrived on the cold side. The chairs were extremely uncomfortable. We finished eating and asked for our check, which never arrived. The server came by 10-15 minutes later and just asked for our card without giving us our check (assuming he forgot about us). I was excited to go, I always wanted to but it was a let down. Will not be returning.

This place is an amazing brunch spot. I took my gf out to this restaurant and we both loved it. I had an amazing experience from beginning to end. We arrived at the place around 11:30 am and we quickly found parking. Upon arriving we were nicely greeted by the hostess in a polite manner and with a smile, then we were told that the wait time would be around 10 min, which ended up feeling less than that. We were seated and our waiter, Mike came to our table to take our drink orders. The drinks came fast and the food as well when we ended up ordering our food. Fast service, and very polite workers. The restrooms were very nice and clean. The ambiance was phenomenal, everything was aesthetically pleasing, homey, peaceful, and quiet. I felt like I could have a nice conversation with my gf and it would still be private. Ahhhh, and most importantly, the food did not disappoint. I got Brioche French toast w/ egg and country potatoes and I loved them, it was delicious, the portions were perfect. My gf got a pesto chicken sandwich which she loved. To drink I got a hot chocolate which was delicious and my gf got a hazelnut coffee. The total was 46.48 which I thought was reasonable, not too expensive. Just about the same cost of going to Denny’s. Overall a great experience, and a great spot to get brunch, I highly recommend it, and I give it a 10/10. If you go, be aware of their hours, they’re open every day except Tuesday, and their hours are 8 am - 1:30 pm.My order for anyone curious:Hot Chocolate: 4.00Iced Latte: 5.25(Hazelnut: 0.75)Brioche French Toast: 18.00Classic, scrambled eggs: (2.50)Auntie’s Potatoes: (2.50)Subtotal: 42.25LA Tax: 4.33Total: 46.58Parking: 2 hours free public parking in front of the restaurantWheelchair accessibility: There was a ramp

Went with a party of six on a Thursday morning. The food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. Tried their Mini Bar, which is a bottle of champagne with 2 different juices. A perfect addition to our brunch! Parking can be difficult to find in front, but there is a lot across the street.Parking: Free parking lot is across the street.

I think I found a new place. I have heard of this place but haven't had the chance to try it until last weekend. I regret taking so long because the place is still fairly affordable and delicious. I love that there's a variety of healthy options and sweet breakfasts. They also serve alcoholic drinks for brunch. I love the inside and outside patio and the manager was really nice and made sure we were treated properly. Overall, the service was good and the ambiance was exactly what you expect at a brunch location.

Last year, my friend and I found this place on Yelp. By reading the reviews and seeing the lovely pictures, we decided to give a try. The experience I had about food and service was just mediocre. The only thing I like was the outdoor setting. But not worth to go again. However, after couple months, my sister family saw the yelp and asked me to join her. She said maybe I would change my mind on the 2nd visit. Well, sad to say, the 2nd visit's experience was even worse than the 1st time. Not only the food portions shrunk, the service was really bad. We waited for a long time for the coffee refill, finally, we got attention. But when she showed up again was to bring the food to other table. We reminded her but she never came out again. We ended up didn't get coffee refill . we then ask another server for the bill. Of course, we have waited more than 5-10 minutes to get the bill. We realized if we paid by credit card , it would take another 5-10 min to run the charges. So we decided to pay cash just wanted to get out the place. Summary, I will not step into this place again.

Service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere and set was very cute and homely. The food wasn't great and it was overpriced.

Came here for brunch on a weekday and was seated within 5 minutes of checking in. Our waitress was Emily who was friendly, but took awhile to take our order and never brought out our water cups. I initially ordered a tomato soup and after waiting for 30 minutes was told that they ran out of tomato soup. No problem, I ordered a Turkey sandwich instead. Even though we had already waited more than 30 minutes, instead of getting our new order immediately, we waited another 30 minutes before noticing that tables around us who were seated and ordered after us were getting their food before us. This is when I became upset and spoke to our waitress as we had already been waiting more than an hour. She apologized and we got our food within 5 minutes, but it was ridiculous that they didn't make our new order immediately since we had already been waiting so long. The ambiance is adorable in a cute garden setting, food is ok honestly nothing special, and speed of service can definitely use some work. Free parking can be found in a large lot near rite aide.

I went in this morning around 11:30 was planning on ordering a quick breakfast pastrie for my gluten free daughter and myself. The gal behind the register made it a point that I could only order pastries and drinks to go. Her demeanor seemed a tad rude. I asked what the pastries were and she named them for me. She mentioned a vegan zucchini bread and a "blubbery orange" scone which sounded good but I asked to see the menu because the glare at the pastry counter was so bad and there was a table blocking access to really see. As I looked over the menu the gal passed me over to a gentleman. I asked the gentlemen what he recommended he suggested a few things and then I asked how the scones were and he said the "blueberry lemon" was good. I made a gamble on the scone and the vegan bread. I arrived at my destination and started to eat, it only took one single bite to know that the vegan zucchini bread was dry and crumbling! I proceeded to eat the "blueberry lemon" scone to find out it was a cranberry lemon scone and not the best thing. This place used to be our place but its just not the same. The atmosphere inside even seemed different. Sadly we'll be looking for a new spot or I'll just start baking again!
