Ecstatic to stumble upon an authentic sit-down Peruvian restaurant in downtown Whittier with amazing food. We've only been once so far, but the staff was very friendly and the food was amazing with exactly what I'd expect for a Peruvian saltado and ceviche. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.

This is my ultimate favorite peruvian place to eat when I'm in the area 10/10 the best 👌🏼
Staff is always friendly and helpful and the background music playing takes me back in time. My go to plates are the Lomo saltado with platanos on the side 🤤

Third time I come to this place and it's never a disappointment. The food is excellent. I'm very picky when it comes to Peruvian food. The Papa a la Huancaina is the best I've ever had in any restaurant ever here in California. I don't usually order this specific dish because it is always a disappointment. Not today! It was very good. My compliments to the chef. This place is definitely becoming a favorite spot for me. ❤️

I try to be understanding whenever a restaurant makes a mistake because there could be a new chef, lack of staff, or a busy night. However, this is not the first time this restaurant has made mistakes. The previous time I ordered had few plates of rice uncooked and were missing items. This time they really messed up when I placed an order for to go. Very disappointed, spent about $200 for a birthday celebration, but the quality of the food in return was awful. The bistec a la pobre was burnt. The rice for some of the plates, were literally still uncooked. The lomo saltado plates came with small 5 pieces of steak. The red salsa was very watered down. Furthermore, I asked for all the items ordered to have the fries on the side in a separate container, but to top it off they forgot to put it in the bag after asking if all the food was ready. After this experience, I will never order from this restaurant ever again, and I hope they can resolve their bad habits for future customers.

Place had great reviews so we decideed to stop and try it out.
Our waitress was friendly and helpful. We asked for mayo and they made it to order.
My dish pollo a la parilla with salad and papa a la huancaina was ok. Nothing impressive.
Milanesa de pollo was good but a bit dry.
Not as good as the reviews stated.

I liked the food and the super professional service but when we ordered dessert the only thing they served were alfajores so we ordered them and what a shame but they were super unpleasant, the dough was hard and tasteless and not to mention the almost invisible manjarblanco was pure cookie, they do not denigrate the restaurant menu, find a supplier that makes real alfajores with a national flavor, it was obvious that they did not want to spend on the manjarblanco for cost reasons.

We ordered some food from baileys to celebrate my wife birthday. Food was delicious the lomo saltado, was great. But the green spaghetti’s were the bomb. Everyone love it, the papa a la huancaina had the perfect sauce, not too hot. Really good. Congratulations to the Chef. Thank you Baileys.
