Great pizza with an old school pizza parlor dining room with big TVs. This place can't be beat whether you're getting pizza to go or dining in and watching a game. The owner and employees are always friendly and helpful.
This location has been open since 1971. Kevin is the new and 2nd owner operator -- great guy, great service. Pizza is outstanding. My first order of Barro's pizza was 1981, at a location in West LA. This Barro's is the last one in CA. Worth the drive to try out.
Went to visit a friend who had ordered pizza a week before and he shared with me. I was very impressed by this delicious pizza from Barro's that I had to go for myself and try more. I was not disappointed. Crust, a lot of toppings and the sauce was so excellent. People, I tried other pizza places in Whittier, but very few make it so good like Barro's. And staff is great!
