This location has been open since 1971. Kevin is the new and 2nd owner operator -- great guy, great service. Pizza is outstanding. My first order of Barro's pizza was 1981, at a location in West LA. This Barro's is the last one in CA. Worth the drive to try out.
Went to visit a friend who had ordered pizza a week before and he shared with me. I was very impressed by this delicious pizza from Barro's that I had to go for myself and try more. I was not disappointed. Crust, a lot of toppings and the sauce was so excellent. People, I tried other pizza places in Whittier, but very few make it so good like Barro's. And staff is great!
I ordered delivery so I will not include a review on the atmosphere. As far as the food, my pizza was made exactly how I ordered it, sooo yummy!!! My only complaint is that pizza establishments have taken on consistently making large crust which minimizing that actual pizza to be consumed when you don't eat crust. The only reason that I realized that this is intentional is that I saw pizza's being made and there is the intentional formation of the crust. Reduces the...
