I would rate 2 and a half stars! Portion size is okay but kind of skimpy on the baby back ribs but like I said it’s ok! The main reason for my score is you can tell that the smoke is dirty and overpowering the flavor of the meat. Yes you need smoke but too much is bad! I really wanted to like this place because there is not many bbq places around Whittier! Not saying I wouldn’t try it again but I would definitely try other options first before a second try. Maybe it was just an off day! Staff was friendly and welcoming!

BIBS BQ provides the food for our niece Anna Rosales Celebration of Life, At The San Dimas Canyon Park in San Dina’s, California. The food were delicious and everyone enjoyed their Brisket and Pork Ribs.

Came by with my son last minute they were almost sold out (says a lot about how amazing there food is) so we grabbed what they had left bbq beef ribs mac and cheese and smoked beans….you guys the food was beyond AMAZING i love bbq but this particular spot 10/10 my son is a picky eater i got him his own plate he devoured the ribs and mac and cheese. I highly highly recommend do not listen to the few who gave negative reviews because you will definitely miss out. The service was amazing very nice and patient with us. Too bad i cant post a video because the portions are HUGE !

WILD SALES
Bibs is a hidden gem in Whittier. Beef ribs, ribeye, and brisket were delicious. We had the beans and mac and cheese for sides and they were both right up there with anybody else's. I've had the potato salad in the past, and it is your traditional barbecue potato salad, not your heavier mayo base type. Definitely coming back, don't sleep on this place

These are the best ribs in town. The tri-tip was amazing. Everything was outstanding. I think the owners name is Manny. He was awesome. You have to try this one

I placed an order thru grubhub. The delivery person (DP) went to pick up the food but couldn't. The DP told me that they couldn't complete my order because they had run out of something. I asked for a substitution, grubhub even tried calling, but they didn't answer. After 30 min waiting for my meal, the order was canceled. Why couldn't I have been notified immediately? What poor customer service! Too bad we can't give zero stars.

We pass this BBQ spot on our way to the Fightshop. So we decided to make a stop on our way back. We were greeted by the BBQ Master and owner Manny. Manny was a very cool and lovely person with great passion of his art. Manny took his time to talk to us and share his restaurant story with us. We had the 3 meat meal with 4 sides for 45 dollars. It was a great deal and really delicious. I highly recommend this sopt!

I am not usually in the habit of leaving restaurant reviews, but after our lovely experience last night, I feel like I should make an exception!
We had family visiting from overseas who had never tried American BBQ. We showed up here on a whim, not long before closing. The owner was very apologetic that they were out of brisket, and was stoked to hear our visitors' story. A really friendly guy to chat to!
He gave us substantially more food than we paid for (extra sides, extra meat, free drinks). Everyone really enjoyed the food; the ribs were particularly good among the meat, but the real standout was actually the sides. Often BBQ places have quite lacklustre sides, but everything here was much tastier than average. Good mac & cheese, good potato salad, good coleslaw, even the bread was good!
Will definitely be coming back here.
