Bruster's Real Ice Cream

Witnessed what looked like the owner yelling at two employees the other night right outside of the store... very disturbing. The only thing that makes up for their water-based icecream for me was the sweet customer service from employees but it seems not even that can save it.

On the evening of October 27, I went to pick up the food. The girl was very rude and impolite. She never spoke and violently closed the window. I thought it was my illusion until I went to pick up the food for the second time and found that she deliberately violently closed the window. I was sure she was venting some kind of unhappy emotion.

Wanted some ice cream and we decided to come to Bruster's. I had 3 scoops sour apple italian ice it was not flavorful at all, would not order again. The banana pudding ice cream was my favorite very good. I tried their caramel apple pie ice cream, I did not like it. It had a lot of cinnamon pie crust pieces no apple pieces at all. I would not order again. My husband had 2 scoops the deep apple pie ice cream it liked it and he had banana chip he liked the banana flavor ice cream but not the vanilla chips.

I came from Las Vegas one on Durango it's was much better taste and portion. I got butter pecan and I can taste the butter with a lot of pecans I can to try again with my kids and I was a little disappointed in the flavor butter pecan it tasted different and your portion was not the same as I tried yesterday.

Sad I have to take time out of my day to write this review. But people need to hear how bad this place is. You can hear the workers sigh when you ask for a sample. They make you feel like you are a burden for asking for a sampling. When I saw the prices I was at least expecting a decent scoop. But no the portions are straight disrespectful. I’m not sure why this is because I’ve been coming for a while now and they use to have massive portions. If I’m paying $7 for a small I’d expect some good ice cream. Rite aid outperforms this place by a lot. This place has been going downhill since they opened. Save your hard earned money and go to Rite aid!!!

Staff is great and the ice cream is so delicious!! I personally love the coffee chocolate chip, tastes like tiramisu! The only thing I think they could do better on is making scoops similar in size. My boyfriend and I both got a small in a waffle cone and his looked like one scoop compared to my two. Otherwise, the staff is friendly and fast and every flavor I've tried is amazing!

I have been to many ice cream places all around the USA, even to the Holy Grail areas in Ohio.....and let me tell you that this is one of the best in the Country! Excellent ice cream and service! The best part, it's now in my home town of Whittier!! ????

Desperately needed some Ice Cream as we hit the peak of the heat and Bruster's came through like a champ. My dog doesn't usually eat pup cups or anything similar but he loved their vanilla ice cream and the staff was amazingly friendly and service was quick!

You most definitely need to try their ice creams. I love the variety of flavors, so creamy! I appreciate their options for non-dairy ice creams and sorbet. They make their own waffle cones, served fresh and warm. The servings are large. On Thursdays, bring your own banana and get a banana split 1/2 off. Great deal!

Love Bruster’s. I e cream tastes so fresh and the flavors are great. Additionally, you can get two flavors in a small which you can’t do at Handel’s.
