I went on 12/26/2025 I did not like that I felt rushed. The sign online on google yelp and website says it closes at 10 but apparently they close at 9pm I felt rushed. They should have said something before so we could have taken our order to go.
The food was okay, the service was good. Friendly and attentive staff. Also too loud for my taste but it IS a bar so that's to be expected. It's just not for me. I ordered the pastrami sandwich with fries and it was alright. The fries were good. The ranch dressing was scrumptious. But the sandwich was not great. My mom ordered the club sandwich and she said it was also just alright, not great. But the atmosphere is that of a family, so overall a lovely place.
California Grill in Whittier is the best! Great food, the coldest AC in LA County, and amazing service every time. Shoutout to Nick, Miranda, Steven, Maritza, Brianna, and Ruben for always taking care of us — they make you feel like family.
