I don't really do reviews but I had highly disappointed I want it to try this bakery because it is close to my house Tamales are very dry I also got a sweet bread! Sweet bead was super hard not even able to eat it. And my Champurrado was cold and no flavor what so ever. The guy who attended me was a very nice guy and very nice person but food was horrible very disappointed

Tamales were extremely dry and I was only refunded half of my money. The man at the counter even agreed that the masa was real dry. He mentioned something about the company he buys the masa from??

A few years ago this bakery was good. The first owners made the bread and tamales really good.But I moved away from whittier 4 years ago. I came back to purchase tamales.omg! The tamales were so disgusting. I think theywere so old they were spoil and they just warm them up. Seriously not lying. The chicken smelled like dead dog. The pork was so dry. I bought chicken, pork and cheese.All tasted disgusting to say the least. If i was able to rate the 0 stars i would. Please dont go to this place. So nasty.

This place is good for their masa,tortillas and bolillo. Sweet bread is hardly fresh,pretty stale bread. La Mexicana Bakery on leffingwell has delicious,fresh warm bread on the daily....
