We were in town and wanted to try something local. Packed the car with the kids and headed to Classic Burger Cafe. To our surprise the dining room was closed. The drive thru was working but the dining room was closed. We had to make other plans. We were disappointed.

I love this new mexican food place. It is so good and authentic. It is like the food I grew up eating, from not only the food we made growing up but just like the food from where my family is from. I missed eating enchiladas so much. They're my favorite! Thank you so much to the cook and the cashier for helping me! I wish the best to this restaurant, and I hope people recognize how amazing and yummy their food is :)

I used to go here in 1965 at least once a week for one of the best burritos I’ve ever eaten. I left California 26 years ago, but still remember how good the burritos were. I see the food is still great and the service top notch. Keep up the good work and if I ever get back to Whittier, I’ll be sure to come in. Good luck and god bless. Jim Powell.

Very picky on my menudo, but menudo here is one of the best in town (trust me!). Also, from burgers to burritos, fish 'n' chips to chile fries--I've been satisfied with all. Good portions all around and owners are very friendly and personable.

Perfectly sized breakfast burrito for a great value and staff is so friendly you can't help but smile.It's a classic socal 90s diner feel with no frills. Writing pads to set up orders on the grill, drawings/colored pages hung on the wall by a proud parents, self service coffee pot on a cabinet and tables all alongside the windows because there's just enough room between to line up and pay for your order.Definitely coming back soon just for the feeling of nostalgia.

Parking: The lot is shared by a Laundromat and subway so it might feel like you can't find parking but give it a min and something will pop up
