I've been here a few times and food is always great, but it's lacking in service. We went a while back and the waitress accidentally doubled our order for tequila shots. We didn't give her any crap but were still hit with an added gratuity. She also didn't speak very good english which we found was the reason for the error, again, that's ok but I would've expected a break at least on the pricing for the error. Food took long to come out, and granted we were a party of about 8 but still. Some of us were eating, then some nearly finishing until the other meals made their way out. There's potential here, but service is definitely hit or miss.

I burned my hand with the queso fundido and no one warned me that the plate was extremely HOT.

The food and drinks are amazing! The service is top notch and I love the nightlife atmosphere on the weekends with Bands and DJ’s! Also Happy Hour from 3 to 7 pm every day they are open! Great job Francisco!

They were a bit understaffed, but that only meant they were busy because their food and drinks were excellent. The restaurant was very clean, well lit. Even though the staff was busy, they did check on us.

The vibes and ambiance were impeccable. Bright room, lots of space, and comfortable seating. The chips and Salsa were delicious… I can confirm that the fajitas were PACKED with yummy flavor. The shrimp tacos accompanied with the sauce selection had me salivating. The Flauta dish was by far my favorite. The ratio of tortilla to chicken was perfect. I highly recommend anyone looking for some yummy dinner that will leave you feeling full, satiated and thinking of your next time dining in at Dame Mas Urban Cantina.

I'm visiting & found this place randomly. I loved it so much in ordering delivery before by flight tomorrow!

This is one of the best quesadillas I've ever had. A delicious meat to cheese ratio. Good crispiness & lightly oily, in a good way. & A great char on tender chicken.

My partner had the Empanadas & they were very crispy & fluffy.

We don't remember the name of the cocktail but it came with a sour watermelon sucker & a hit of tapatio. Really good!

The atmosphere is great too. They have some lovely Frida Kahlo portraits. The booths were spacious.

First of all, the server was super sweet and none of this is her fault.
We waited so long to get our food, we finally asked for it to go. By the time we got our check and our to go boxes, we had waited one hour and 18 minutes. We did order the tuna ceviche as an appetizer and waited a really long time, then they brought us the mixed ceviche, which my husband is slightly allergic to shrimp. We didn’t know it was the mixed one until he took a bite, so I had to give him a Benadryl. They took it back and brought us the tuna ceviche another looong time later and it looked and tasted old, so I didn’t eat much of it. My legs were going numb because the high top stool was so uncomfortable. Eating the food at home, the mole tasted like it was made with Swiss Miss hot chocolate and the chicken was so dry, it was really hard to swallow (photo). The jalapeños were supposed to be fried, but they’re straight out of a can. The corn quesadilla was fine.

Kid-friendliness: They had a DJ playing music videos. The kids were dancing on the dance floor, having tons of fun and it was super cute.
