Used to come here every Monday as a young kid, was back in town visiting family and the food was great. The Carne Asada dinner in particular was stellar.

Stopped with my family for a last minute dinner. The restaurant is small and humble, and I believe family owned. The chips and salsa we're fresh and the food was good to excellent! Soup was homemade with plenty of veggies (I love that), generous amount of chicken in my enchiladas and the sauce was very flavorful. The spinach empanada was amazing bty. I have no food related complaints. Only thing that bugs a little is that parking is limited and I don't like being over charged for a can of soda I will be back!

I really wanted to like this place. I like supporting small /family owned businesses, so I was really excited to visit this place after my run. My friend and I talked about enjoying a cold beer after our run, and this place offered that. I was a bit turned off by the young man who took our drink order (shoes were dirty & hands didn't look clean), but I wanted to enjoy my visit to I ignored that. I went to wash my hands & the ladies' restroom had run out of hand soap. I got just a tiny bit to wash my hands. I had dinner plans later the same day, so I decided to order a bean and cheese burrito and a cold Pacifico. The lady taking our order was on the rude side. Was very short & seemed upset when I asked if they made their guacamole there (as I know many places dont) my friend wanted some Carne asada burrito, but the lady said they didn't have any beef, nor shredded beef so many of the items were not available. Again, she seemed upset. When my friend ordered her burrito the lady asked if she wanted that wet, it sounded good, so I asked if my bean and cheese burrito can be made wet and I asked what type of salsa she put on, as I didn't want something too spicy. She rolled her eyes and said the green was spicy. I joked and said, "I can't handle the hot stuff." Even the salsa for the chips was hot for me. She rolled her eyes and continued taking our order. Food came out quickly, and the salsa was a good choice because the burrito lacked some flavor, but it was fine. I flagged down the guy to order a second beer (lady nor guy ever came back to check on us). The check arrived, and I was surprised that my $5.99 bean and cheese burrito turned into a $13.99 burrito. I thought maybe they made a mistake, so I asked the guy about it, and he pointed to the wet chille relleno burrito, which was $13.99 and I said, oh, but I got the bean and cheese burrito, and he said, "but you asked for it wet". My friend asked if we could talk to the lady, she then popped out by the register and asked what we wanted (though restaurant was empty, we didn't want to yell from our table, so we walked over and asked about the burrito). I assumed making it wet would add an extra $4 or $5, not $8! She also pointed to the chille relleno burrito, we said it was not the same, at this point her attitude was worse and used her hands to say you don't understand and I don't care, you gotta pay that! I calmly tried to explain that she didn't make sense, she didn't have anything on the menu stating wet burritos were $13.99 and i said, fine, we'll pay that. She mumbled some more and I said she lacked customer service and she said pay and get out. I said no worries, we were leaving and would never give our business back and she said some other stuff. I looked to my friend and said I couldn't believe how rude she was and she didn't know how to treat customers and her son or young man said to me in Spanish "chinga a tu madre!" (F#uck your mother) haha, that was a first! Frankly, it's sad to see someone behave that way. Whatever anger/bitterness she has in her heart, she's passing it on to that young guy (assume her son).

Omg chef Toño is the God of empanadas! The best most flavorful and filling flavors. Super fresh always consistent. I highly recommend! Perfectly seasoned and they ever have vegetarian options which is so hard to find. Simply the best, I cannot recommend them enough . You have to come try. I also love their salsa I've had many salsas throughout my life and I have to stay this one is the best salsa for a chip it's just so fresh and perfect spice to where you can eat so much of it lol I wish I lived closer so I can come by more often but whenever I'm in the area my dad always brings me some because he knows it's just the best. Love buen gusto! Everything here is so bomb and consisten , super hard working husband and wife duo and you can taste the authentic and exquisite chefs touch they have :)

El Buen Gusto has great enchiladas, wonderful homemade chips, and phone orders are done pretty quickly. You won't leave hungry. They're most famous for their empanadas, and I definitely recommend you try them. Get a couple as sides for your meal.

Walked in at 7:30pm and said they are closed to dine-in guests and only taking to-go orders. They close at 8pm. Still plenty of time for dine-in guests. Went to the sushi place next door and spent $125 with them as they welcomed us with open arms. More business came in after us to the sushi restaurant. More $$$ for those who treat guests right.

Yummy! We stopped to try their empanadas and tried 3 different ones: chicken, spinach, and ham & cheese. The 3 were served with pico de gallo and guacamole….they all were delicious with very beautiful hand made crusts. We really enjoyed them and would definitely come back. ☺️??Parking: Parking is only a few spaces along the front of the building and some are handicapped labeled so get there early.

So good! The beef empanada was my favorite. It's sweet, with corn I think. The carnitas one has a little heat to it. Very good also! My son got a chicken burrito and ate the whole thing as soon as we got home! Ordered at the counter and waited less than 15 minutes for 3 meals. Employee was very sweet, gave us a take out menu, asked us we wanted napkins, utensils, etc. Happy to help them out also since their family apartment burned down recently.

The food here is really good. Price to quality ratio is what makes this place a no brainer. The price is about 15% more then other places but the quality of meat and serving portions substantiate the pricing. I had an enchilada plate with a empanada and oh man it was delicious. I was super full but ate everything. My wife had the Asada burrito and she enjoyed it. She said the meat tasted like ribeye and seasoned really well. FYI: the albondigas soup is a hidden gem. It's flavorful and hearty with tons of veggies and delicious meatballs. I highway recommend this place if you like quality Mexican food.
