1st incident I get charged twice for my order and didn’t realize until I checked bank account 2nd one. The employees not taking coupons that clearly states what can you order. It’s ridiculous and worst service. Im a regular since my health requieres I eat specific things but I will have to drive a bit further for better service. This location ripping people off

This pollo loco location on Carmenita is always the worst, all the people working there have bad attitudes and are always forgetting something in my order. Management needs to step up and re train these people to be kind and double check everything.

So I went to get lunch on a Monday late morning around 11 am and it was before the lunch crowd but walked in and ordered. The staff took my order of a double shrimp salad and chicken salad. The shrimp salad could’ve had more shrimp especially since it was supposed to be “double”. The chicken salad had good chunks of chicken and tasted pretty good, especially after adding all the sauces. The tortilla fried bowl was thinner than I remember but I enjoyed it. Both salads came with avocado that wasn’t a separate charge. The cost is kinda expensive but we had coupons so it was great to have a discount. The wait time was quick and I was in my way before more people arrived.

I went to El Pollo Loco with the intention of getting a shrimp tostada bowl but was sadly told that they were discontinued. So I decided to buy a Family Meal pack which was supposed to come with chicken, 3 large sides, churros and a salad for $36.99. Which sounds great, right? Well, I made the mistake of saying yes to mixed chicken. I was never told that mixed chicken was an extra $4. My cheap family dinner turned into almost $50. Adding to my disappointment, I got home and noticed that I didn't get my salad or churros. I was just so annoyed and irritated that I paid $50 for just chicken that I decided not to eat at El Pollo Loco again and will never refer anyone to eat there.
