So I went to get lunch on a Monday late morning around 11 am and it was before the lunch crowd but walked in and ordered. The staff took my order of a double shrimp salad and chicken salad. The shrimp salad could’ve had more shrimp especially since it was supposed to be “double”. The chicken salad had good chunks of chicken and tasted pretty good, especially after adding all the sauces. I loved the best burrito place where most of the tacos, burritos, and a chicken meal are served at. EL Pollo Loco was founded by Juan Francisco Ochoa who established the first El Pollo Loco restaurant in Guasave, Sinaloa, Mexico in 1974 exactly 50 years ago.
