Something change I was working around the area in August of 2024, food was good burrito had plenty of chicken, I came twice after and they have barely any chicken in the burritos

I have eaten here several times over the past 3 years. From my experience, food has always been fresh and taste good. The pinto beans are very good, especially when they are spicy. The chicken is pretty good too. The chicken burrito is very tasty. The tostada is good however, the chicken can be a bit dry on the tostada. The prices are slightly high but you are paying for quality. I never had an issue with the customer service, the staff has been pretty good.

They were getting orders mixed up. I ordered a queso gaucamole chicken burrito to go. When I got home the burrito was small, not wrapped correctly, so it was falling apart when I opened it up from the foil. Need better training

The food itself is fine. We were disappointed in our most recent meal. Really felt like they skimped on every part of the family meal.

I was informed by staff that the pollo bowl is no longer served with breast chicken. Instead, shredded chicken. Also, the amount has decreased. This is pollo Loco in Whittier on Washington.
The only reason I found out is because I ask that my pasted two visit through the drive thru. They made a mistake and gave me shredded chicken. The staff state is cheaper for pollo loco. But, there is no announcement stating on their menu. Unfortunately for me. I asked for white chicken, and I was being charged $2 plus for that. So now the pollo bowl that I paid for $5 is also $8. ?

This place is a bit dirty with overflowing trash bins inside. The day I went for a quick meal some older female employee was cursing with her coworkers. Good thing there were no children around at that time. Also a few homeless that smelled very bad while I was eating. Ruined my lunch.
Go to another Pollo Loco since this restaurant is consistently the same way. Bad area.
