Best of the best hands down my favorite Mexican home taste food. Great food, excellent service, excellent atmosphere. Menudo is fire. Come with hand made tortillas. Delicious. I will definitely come back and try all the rest of the menu. (Pretty extensive, by the way)

I love their menudo and café de hoya. The inside decoration are beautiful, and the music they play made me feel like I'm in Mexico in the 1950's, I love it. The waitress is kind and friendly. It's one of my favorite restaurants in the city.

Great place, long exhausting day and just looking for a good spot to eat. Staff made me feel at home. Food took a while to come out, but all great things take time. I had a menudo on a hot day, 90 degree weather. That menudo hit the spot. Family got tacos with home made tortillas and birria. All the food was great. Will definitely go back.

I waa ssked if i wanted to sample the mole before i ordered. I syated based on reviews i dont need to. The reviews were dead on. The taate of my meal brought back memories of grandmas mole. For this thank you

The chicken enchiladas is boom, best in LA, we wanna order another one after we finish kind of good. But the birria is mid, way too salty, the meat is not bad, but overall 2.5/5 not worth the price. But everything is good, cool place, love the vibe, and the service is super nice

I forgot to take photos but the service was personable. kind and attentive. The atmosphere was comfortable they had it decorated like a garden and birds were playing in the background softly. The food was delicious and truthfully I was stuffed. Not overpriced lots to choose from. It is tiny place though so not a place to take a large group. It’s a one to two person table to be comfortable.

Reminded me of my abuelas cooking as a little girl when we would visit her in L.A. all the time. Definitely authentic , and they were super nice and friendly , they deserve a lot of blessings! :) homemade corn tortillas were amazing 🙌🏽

This place is a hidden gem in Whittier. We had the Pozole and Birria plate and everything was delicious. The service is great, the atmosphere is very inviting and the decor is peaceful and serene. I recommend sharing an experience at this place for a beautiful meal.
