This place is ass they wanted to charge me 2.50 more for a slice of cheese. So I went with a chicken sandwich ass too the lettuce was old and soggy and chicken has bad aftertaste. First and last time here. Hope I don't get sick

The place is pretty good when it comes to their burgers and chili cheese fries. The portions are fairly big and the burgers are pretty good as well. I haven't dined in in a long time but it looks comfortable and spacious inside. Drive thru service is good. Again I can't say anything about the dine in experience but the take out is good and they have never gotten an order of mine wrong.

My visit to the Golden Ox restaurant left me with a sour taste, both literally and figuratively. The most immediate issue was that the food served to me was disappointingly cold. It's always frustrating when you're anticipating a hot, satisfying meal, but what I received was far from it. What made matters worse was the excessive saltiness of the dishes. The over-salted food not only ruined the flavor but also raised concerns about the quality of their ingredients and kitchen practices. The cherry on top of this disappointing experience was the discrepancy in pricing. The menu clearly displayed one price for the special I ordered, but when the bill arrived, I was charged a higher amount. When I brought this matter up with the cashier, I was met with a baffling explanation: apparently, the price difference was attributed to my choice of having my eggs over easy instead of scrambled with the breakfast burrito. This justification not only lacked transparency but was downright unacceptable. This experience has left me with no desire to return to the Golden Ox. When I dine out, I expect a reasonable level of service and food quality, which was sorely lacking during my visit. I sincerely hope the restaurant addresses these issues to provide a better dining experience for future patrons.

I was super hungry waiting in my car for my son while he was getting a haircut. Next door, Saw this place and decided to try them. They place look a little unkept but it's actually really clean, the people are very welcoming & nice. They have quite a variety of food. Great combo deals, and even Ice coffee. They also have a TV so you can watch TV while you eat. I order the grilled chicken salad, it was really good, the chicken is grilled when your order it, the spices they use to grill the chicken are delicious making the chicken taste amazing. It comes with a handful of ranch dressing on the side they are very generous with the dressing. The only reason I'm knocking out one star is because: if you are going to charge $11 for a salad it should be a little bigger the container that it come in, its to small when you open it some of the salad literally falls onto the table, the lettuce looks like is all smush in, Also the lettuce had to much water I was not even half ways when all I was eating was nothing but soggy lettuce. The chicken was cook to perfection but you need to work on the lettuce part & try not to add so much big chucks of carrots. No sure if I'll come back unless I find myself waiting outside again.

Cashier would not let me use the restroom until I made a purchase ghetto AF place.. I understand they have a big homeless problem in the area but I'm sure! I was wearing my work uniform. Owner needs to change there policy.

The chicken strips are not chicken breast and more like chicken nugget slim molded into chicken strips. The Pastrami was super fatty and stringy. The salad was good and clean but was served with excessive water.I've been to other Golden Ox and they're always good but this location wasn't. I will definitely not be coming back here.

got a breakfast burrito and it was VERY greasy. i could taste the canola oil. good for lunch but not breakfast .

It's ok. My eggs were good. My bacon was yucky. My son ordered chicken fingers and we got chicken dinosaurs. My son that got a burger and fries liked it. They also have a drive through.
the 3 meat breakfast burrito if you don't know what to get. lots of hash browns and right amount egg and meats. it's huge

I hit the drive thru for a quick lunch order. The cheeseburgers were good, cooked fresh and tasted delicious along with the grilled chicken from the salad that was ordered. If you order the salad though, you might want to ask them to pack the hot chicken separate from the greens since the salad was warm by the time I got home but the seasoning on the fries was good.

Horrible customer service the owner has! He knows how not to make or keep customers, as it is the place is pretty much always empty. I went there one night and as I've a severe corn allergy I asked if they could look at the ingredients on their bread/buns, I even said I wouldn't mind looking at the ingredients as I know it can be a huge issue for many people in the service industry when diners come in with allergies. He yelled at me. My friend and I went across the street to Burrito Track after that, the best Chile verde wet burrito!

Worst pastrami ever! I don't know if the meat was rotten but it looked and smelled funny. I took a taste and spit it right out and my tongue was numb for minutes after. I took it back for a refund and they gave me my money back no questions as if this wasn't the first time that had happened.
