Ordered a 12 piece shrimp only. Non of the shrimp were full pieces,it was 30% shrimp and 70% batter.

This location is super clean and all kitchen equipment are skinny clean stainless steel. Food is great as always.

Johnny's Shrimp Boat has been our choice for over 50 years whenever we want the best breaded shrimp, chili & rice and fish tacos! My parents would take us to the original location on Main & 3rd Street in DTLA. I'm sure that I will frequent Johnny's until I pass.

I got the shrimp and fish with rice, beans, and gravy. The fish and shrimp were awesome! And the rice, beans, and gravy as a side was something pleasantly different. The place is a must-try if you're in the area!

Not very good fish and chips. Fish pieces are very small and covered in half inch thick batter. Chips were below average and needed salt. Sorry, I’m not going back.
